"The food is extremely poor for the price. I ordered a starter of prawns and chorizo for £9.95. This was served in its entirety on a piece of shop bought small brown bread. There was nothing which particularly stood out with the dish at all. For the main, I had a Himalayan Lamb curry. This was £25. The lamb curry itself was very nice extremely tender. This was served however with a small microwaved veg portion, and plain uncle bens or similar, microwaved rice. For £25, serving a curry with microwaved rice is shocking. My partner had chicken supreme, which was nothing more than a small chicken leg with a side of risotto and cost £18. All together the bill was £75 for a really poor quality meal. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and it’s probably the worst meal I’ve ever had considering value. On a side note, the waiting staff were extremely attentive this isn’t a reflection on them at all. Similarly the decor in the place is fantastic which gives the feel that the food is going to be much better than it actually is. James"

My first trip here the food was OK, but small portions and quite expensive for OK I thought. The place is very cute, and the staff were very pleasant!

The Copper Kitchen is a little gem in Bicester. Nice varied menu. We had beautifully cooked filet steak and risotto served by friendly keen staff. Well done!

tried this take for the first time how nicely dürre eating is, the king's garnish dish was especially cooked with the garnishes only to the perfection yummy. Many thanks in the kitchen.

Amazing restaurant, really attentive staff and the food was of high quality. One of, if not, the best panna cottas I have ever experienced. Throughly recommend, if just for the pudding.

A gem in Bicester. Cosy restaurant with pleasant efficient staff. Good choice of menu and food was rated delicious by us all. Was buzzy on a Thursday evening with twinkling lights and very welcoming.

Great meal in attractive restaurant. My friends had fillet steak, expensive, but they said possibly the best steak ever! I had goulash and that was awesome too. Also great service, with friendly advice on the dishes. Wouldn't hesitate to go back!

I have been to this restaurant several times, for business and with friends and, I always have the beef fillet with dauphinoise potatoes and peppercorns sauce. It never fails. I also have pannacotta for dessert which is very well balanced with flavour and consistency. Fillet is a must

"I’m frustrated and annoyed with booking a romantic meal for our year wedding anniversary, with the current pandemic and work commitments it made a change to make an effort and be excited to visit the boxing hare as the reviews had been excellent. We...were seated in the garden room, next to a family who were on first name terms with the waiting staff and who were so loud I thought I was at a Chelsea match! We received complimentary glasses of champagne and we placed our order for starters and main which were excellent however I felt rushed with the service, as much as I tried to have a conversation all I could hear was this family at decibels to which enough was enough usually I would say something, however rather than ruin there evening I asked for us to be reseated to which the waiting staff were in agreement that they were loud! So why place us next to them? We were given a table in a different part of the pub still busy with other diners giving respect to one another. The table given I was advised I had as it was reserved? I placed dessert order and two lattes with baileys followed by the bill! The bill was a tad on the steep side for a gastro pub perhaps the prices are based on the price of fuel to fill the owners Bentley Overall felt it was a rushed evening disappointed with the seating arrangements,I won’t be returning as I felt what was important to us wasn’t important to the Boxing Hare I’ve had better evenings at The Falkland Arms Great Tew, The Great Western Aynho"
