"This is based on a one time honest experience: Place was inviting and service was good and quick, but then again it wasn't busy at all. Food was good and bad. Ill elaborate: The person i was with had a stone baked pizza and it was amazing, no questions there. I had pasta Carbonara and then pasta Bolognese to see if it was any better. The carbonara was not good at all, the sauce was so little i was tasting the dough from which the spaghetti was made. It made the spaghetti dry and bad tasting. The Bolognese was good as far as taste goes, but there was something very odd. The sauce was very fat, as a matter of fact, it was so fat, it was sticking to the plate and fork like fine coating. Ive only ever seen this when cooking lamb(i cook). Obviously its not from the beef itself, its fat that was added to the sauce/meat mixture itself. I thought it was perhaps butter(or fat milk), but the consistency of the sauce wasnt thick and velvety, so i doubt it. Was probably animal fat. Ofc i might be wrong. In any case, the 25g of fat per serving of pasta Bolognese is probably wrong. As for pricing, id happily pay the price for the pizza, it was awesome! But the pasta, for what it is, was too expensive. I can say about the rest of the mains, but avoid the pasta if you can and grab yourself a tasty pizza"

"Service was great! Drinks were lovely. Friend and I shared the Crispy Fried Mozzarella and the Garlic Bread with Balsamic Onions Mozzarella. Mozzarella was ok but the garlic bread was so good. Both large enough portions to share. For my main I had the Chicken, Prosciutto Sage Saltimbocca. Unfortunately, this was awful. It was like something you 'd eat on a restricted diet in the hospital. Very plain and little to no taste. Two friends at my table said they tried the dish before. One described the sauce as dirty dish water This was quite accurate. I finished with the Tiramisu which was absolutely amazing. Again, shareable but so good I didn 't! I was with a large table, a variety of dishes were served burgers, pasta, fish, calzone, and pizza. Overall everyone seemed quite pleased. Again, service was excellent and I 'll be back to try another main."

"I have been dining here for a number of years, fairly regularly. The personalised service by the family run business is always outstanding. The food is the main draw...and boy is it worth it. Having experienced many of the restaurants offering what would seem like a simple cuisine...only few have really mastered the consistent quality and taste. The recent change to their Chip supplier has propelled the chips to a whole different level... The battered Cod and haddock are absolutely super light and crispy on the outside with succulent white flesh on the inside. To round up....the traditional apple crumble with warm custard....will remind you of the glorious days of your youth....or be a pleasant surprise if you are tasting this British desert for the very first time... All in all a super place to enjoy the best fish and chips in London And oh....don't forget the pickled onion and gherkins!!"

"we found this place as last minute booking for dinner based on reviews. what a great place. Despite the fact that we stayed up for traffic late and less than an hour before the beginning of our show, we were made to an incredible greeting and were immediately delicious eating and wein fed. "Attractive decor and smart vibes, and also pretty good service. I was lured by the free Prosecco offered on joining Prezzo, but all in all the food didn’t blow my mind. The menu was very varied and interesting, so I decided the goat’s cheese bruschetta and olives to start. The former was piping hot and tasty but too small. The latter were dry, shrivelled and overall off the mark. My main, the Tuscan sauce with lentil, looked appetising but had no wow factor: those sausages could have come from any ordinary supermarket, but I expected them to be tender and flavoursome. I really feel this is a point for improvement. The house white was also insipid. I would imagine the pizza here is good given the classic Italian pizza oven that is used, but I wanted to try something more off piste here and was unfortunately not particularly taken. Perhaps the kitchen was having a bad day?"

"I ordered the lobster and crab ravioli, sounded amazing, around £18, and I was very hungry and I am currently pregnant. When it turned up to the table, myself and my friend were visibly shocked there were only 10 small ravioli parcels in the bottom of the the bowl plate they serve it in. I mentioned to staff and they acted like I was being weird, asked if it was the right pasta and when I said yes, walked away. I wasn’t sure what else could be said so left it at that. I finished my meal and left still very hungry. I’m a slow eater so as my friends plate was barely touched I sat waiting for her to finish her meal. Off to get a tesco meal Deal now, as I refuse to spend another 20 on another meal. I am very disappointed, that was basically a starter, it needed more than double that on the plate for it to qualify as a small meal, that was absolutely tiny. The added cheese appears to have bulked it out a lot but don’t be fooled."

"We had dinner at this restaurant yesterday and it was great. Being a local Bicester resident, we've not visited restaurants on this side but we were glad we visited. They offer a great locally sourced 3 course menu for dinner but we went for 2 courses only as we were heading for a movie. I ordered the meat of the day which was steak with spinach which was great. My better half ordered the fish of the day and they were nice to customise the dish so she could have the salmon with beans and potato. The food arrived fairly quickly and the taste was great. The staff were excellent and surprised me for my birthday with an Eton mess dessert. Would visit again and highly recommended!"

"the calamari was nicely cooked, no rubber bands here, the teig was super light, almost tempura like. the linguini with mönchsfisch and garnel was incredible. again the seafood was perfectly cooked, the pasta was al-dente and the spicy tomato sauce really had a kick. my daughter had the meatballs and penne, which was very rich and extremely tasty. we all ate very well, and our waiter arbi was good fun and attentive. 3 meals, all with 3 curses, for £100.00, we have a 15% tip happy. some reviews mention here not optional service fee this was not at location and place when we visited mai 2022. highly recommended. we're coming back."

We wanted a quick dinner and an early night so I booked for 6pm. The restaurant was practically empty a good sign we thought. The waitress took our orders and our wines came out quite quickly. Our shared starter of one meagre cheesy garlic bread was very disappointing for the price. The restaurant began to fill up quickly and by 7pm was almost full. There were several large parties which we noticed were being served very quickly. We were NOT! We called the waitress over about 7:15 an hour and 15 minutes from when we ordered and we pointed out that while we were still awaiting our meals others had already been served. She assured us we were next. NO! We called her over again only for the same response. We eventually got our meals at 7:30pm! An hour and a half for 2 pizzas quite ridiculous! Not even worth waiting for too soggy and undercooked in the middle. We both left at least half. Nobody responded to our request for the bill so we put our coats on and headed for the door. Needless to say our waitress magically appeared and had the audacity to ask why we were in such a hurry as we had been here for only 2 hours!! Won't be returning."

"My sister and brother-in-law's friends from Cornwall, who live in Filey, arranged for a group of eight of us to dine at San Marco. We received a warm welcome from who I assume was the owner and were seated at a window table. The music was excessively loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. My husband and I were seated next to a speaker, so it was particularly bothersome for us. The food we ordered was decent overall, though my seafood calzone had a slightly soggy base, but was nonetheless tasty. My sister-in-law was not impressed with the garlic mushrooms she ordered as a starter. After trying one, I was relieved I had not chosen them myself as they were not very good. If we were to visit Filey again, we would likely seek out a different dining option."

"a return visit for us after some time. Please tell them that the experience, atmosphere, eating and service were as good as ever, that is, excellent. a friendly reception, interesting menu and beautiful Italian feel, the decor. we had appetizers and...main courses from the fixed price, two course lunch menu, our most important courses are chicken risotto and penne with a creamy huh and mushroom sauce, both absolutely excellent. together with a large glass of the excellent house white and a great espresso, our overall bill was about excellent value for money and a truly authentic Italian culinary experience. we're coming back."

"What a lovely restaurant! We received a warm welcome upon entering and decided to enjoy a quick drink at the bar while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. Once seated, the service from our waiter was prompt and polite, and our food came out hot and fast—oh, and it was absolutely delicious! For starters, we had the fried mozzarella, followed by the pan-fried veal with spaghetti and the shrimp with spaghetti. Everything was fantastic! Plus, it was incredibly affordable! "If ever there was an advert for getting into hospitality, it's here! Big smiles on arrival (even though we were an hour early We had a lovely chat with the owner who explained that everything was cooked from scratch and if we wanted any tweaks...to the menu, they'd be happy to oblige. The restaurant filled with customers and the smell of home-cooked food started to get my mouth watering! All our food was served and presented beautifully and not much was left on the plates! THEN ... a tambourine was placed on our table and the next thing was the owner had strapped on an accordion and away he went with us all clapping and shaking away to some authentic Italian songs. A fantastic night with friends, topped off by the food, attention and atmosphere to brighten up any dark Saturday night in January!! Highly recommended."

"West Tytherley is deep in the Hampshire countryside. Whichever way you come, it's a picturesque drive. From the outside, The Black Horse looks as if it's going to be a very posh venue. However, inside it's a proper old English country pub. We were greeted warmly by the landlady. It was a very hot day and she suggested eating under the gazebo in the courtyard. The menu was nice. We had the Steak Ale Pie, Mushroom Stroganoff, Hickory Chicken and Chicken Fajitas. All of them were very nicely cooked and prepared by the landlady. It was real home-cooking. We all had Apple Blackberry Crumble to finish and it was also deliciously home-made. We were made to feel extremely welcome and really enjoyed our visit. We look forward to going again."

"Me and my Other half have visited a few times before so i thought I would Share my Thoughts. It was a bit of a Rocky Start as the Waitress dropped the Wine over me and my Partner, They were Very Apologetic and got everything Cleaned up Right away, for me it wasn't a too big of a Deal as Accidents Happen, they Offered that the next drink is on the house which was a very Kind Gesture Most Restraunts would still charge after a Similar ordeal I had the Classic Tomato Bruschetta, Bolognese and Tiramisu, My partner had the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, Chicken and pepper Pizza and Honeycomb Cheesecake. Everything was Cooked Fresh and Tasted Fantastic Bruschetta was Excellent! I have No Complaints on the Food, It is Delicous. It is Not the Best I have Experienced but it is the Best in Boston. Both The starters and the Mains came to Our table rather Quickly which was Brilliant, The Desert took just over 20 Minutes. The Staff also had Superb service, Extremely polite, friendly and Truly Dedicated in making your Experience as Pleasant as Possible. Aside from the Slight mishap With the Wine The waitress seemed very Nervous on that Night Bless her, It was very busy She helped clean us Up after and Still kept her Professionalism! I Really do Reccomend this Restraunt to anybody, Couples, Families and friends. The Food is Marvellous, Nicely Presented and Delicous. The staff especially make it a Pleasant Experience."
