"the calamari was nicely cooked, no rubber bands here, the teig was super light, almost tempura like. the linguini with mönchsfisch and garnel was incredible. again the seafood was perfectly cooked, the pasta was al-dente and the spicy tomato sauce really had a kick. my daughter had the meatballs and penne, which was very rich and extremely tasty. we all ate very well, and our waiter arbi was good fun and attentive. 3 meals, all with 3 curses, for £100.00, we have a 15% tip happy. some reviews mention here not optional service fee this was not at location and place when we visited mai 2022. highly recommended. we're coming back."

the birthday contract became a big farewell due to the terrible slow service. over one and a half hours waiting for 6 pizzas! They never apologized or tried, and we had 2 children with us. we will not go...back

Six of us had lunch after a few beers in the tap room. They were very attentive without being overbearing and very accommodating. All the food was cooked fresh and although my steak was underdone they rectified it immediately with no fuss. Great menu and...great service.

Sorry to say that things haven't improved since my last visit. The decor has changed and perhaps that explains the increase in the fixed price menu to £16.95 although their Facebook page had not been updated. There was little choice on that menu. Service was...the pits despite a mandatory 10% service charge. It seems that they have also now joined the trend for a cakeage charge which doesn't sit well especially when our bill came to £200+. Really like La Galleria. Been coming here for years in the evenings as a couple, but today was the first time we brought the kids for Saturday Lunch. Came with friends so was 4 adults and 5 kids ranging from 6 to 1 yr old. The staff were great and really looked after the kids and the kids loved it. Many places would sneer and try and push you through as quickly as possible, but we spent 2 enjoyable hours there. Food was lovely (fantastic Calzone, great seafood Risotto) and they are happy to do smaller portions/pizzas for the kids, and take leftovers home in a box. Definitely recommended! :

Our first visit, a lunch time treat. First impressions the restaurant is very impressive décor wise. We received a friendly welcome and attentive service during our stay. We have eaten in many high-end Italian restaurants in London, Rome, Florence. La Galleria is up there with...the best. The seafood linguini was perfect, a few simple ingredients as is the style of the cuisine, cooked with a light touch but all extremely well flavoured 10/10. My wife had the Melanzane alla parmigiana and was impressed. The folk on the next table had pizzas and they looked amazing. Definitely worth a revisit.
