"My sister and brother-in-law's friends from Cornwall, who live in Filey, arranged for a group of eight of us to dine at San Marco. We received a warm welcome from who I assume was the owner and were seated at a window table. The music was excessively loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. My husband and I were seated next to a speaker, so it was particularly bothersome for us. The food we ordered was decent overall, though my seafood calzone had a slightly soggy base, but was nonetheless tasty. My sister-in-law was not impressed with the garlic mushrooms she ordered as a starter. After trying one, I was relieved I had not chosen them myself as they were not very good. If we were to visit Filey again, we would likely seek out a different dining option."

The best italian I have ever been to. No where else has come close. Everything I have tried has been fantastic. Me and me family go every time we are on holiday without fail. We will.see you guys in 12 days xx

Fabulous food, wine at a reasonable price. Excellent seafood dishes such as locally sourced mussels in a tomato an garlic sauce and halibut as catch of the day . Extensive menu of meat, pasta and pizza dishes too! Excellent customer service.

probably the best italian of the world! wonderful staff always so friendly! always made to feel welcome! we visit this place regularly and my 3 years old absolutely loves it! great atmosphere and the most divine eating! would recommend everyone!

we came for our little girls birthday meal. the staff went beyond and beyond. even until she wrote her name on her cake. what a beautiful place. such a beautiful meal full of taste and red hot when it comes to the table. would recommend this restaurant definatly. I'm sure you're worth a visit.

Had a lovely meal this evening. My 9 year old son had a calzone.. it was massive and beat him but it tasted beautiful. I had pasta which was also very nice and my wife had a risotto which she said was probably the best she'd ever tasted. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area, and I would recommend it to everyone
