The John Gregory Weymouth

Was very surprised and disappointed by the unwelcoming attitude of one of the Servers. Our meals were wonderful and served by a lovely Server. We will definitely return….we were just surprised.

What a wonderful experience…from making the initial booking with Liam to the actual visit. Nothing was too much trouble…from taking photos/ensuring we had enough drinks etc. The meals were excellent and the service was superb!

Came for Christmas meal a group of us. All really enjoyed the food, cooked well and really reasonable prices. The staff were really great, friendly and attentive service was brilliant throughout. Would reccomend and definitely come again thank you. View menu

The John Gregory is in Southill, a couple of mils out of town so it's taken us a while to visit. It certainly won't be long before visiting again. Set in a residential area, It has a very nice interior and friendly staff. The menu and meals we saw looked very inviting so looking forward to sampling next time.

Visited here for the first time and was very impressed the staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble me and my granddaughter had the chicken and my husband and grandson the gammon from the two for £16 menu we was all happy with our meals and really enjoyed them will definitely visit again when on holiday .

Proper pub grub well done! We always used to go prior to the refurbishment. The pub is nice, clean and warm! The staff are lovely and make you feel very welcome! I have visited 3 times over the last month and can say I have not been let down! There is something for everyone, good hearty pub grub and plenty of it! Just be warned it does get busy from 1200 to 1400. The beer is well priced to boot! I will definitely be back again. View menu

This pub is how all pubs should be run, well done to the manager and all the staff. We arrived just as the kitchen was closing but were told it’s no problem and taken to a lovely table and given menus. We both opted for steak ale pie with mash and veg which was lovely and hot and extra gravy in a jug on the side of the plate. Drinks arrived quickly as did the food. Atmosphere was nice and the pub was spotlessly clean. We will definitely be visiting here again soon. Thank you for looking after us so well.

The John Gregory has become one of our favourite places to visit. The food is extremely good value especially with the offers they have and always superbly cooked,presented and delivered to our table promptly. However busy they are (which is normally the case! the staff are always friendly and efficient and nothing too much trouble. There are a wide variety of drinks available at an affordable price. We are so impressed with the pub that we have booked our Christmas Day meal there. A special mention to Liam and Chloe and the rest of the team who are amazing. Thankyou for all your hard work!

We’ve visited numerous times now with our grandmother who lives in the estate locally, she always highly recommends and visits almost weekly herself. We visited of a Sunday late afternoon (3pm) and enjoyed the Sunday dinner, I was really pleasantly surprised such great portions and the roast potatoes were great! Our daughters portion was also huge, and great it was included in the kids menu as an option as she loves a roast diner. Our sons enjoyed a burger and fish fingers as they are not fans of a Sunday dinner themselves but definitely enjoyed their dinner here, one of the things we appreciate is the choice on offer for children having a son who’s not a fan of potatoes he randomly doesn’t...
