"We went here for Sunday roast which was very tasty. Once the food was ordered which you do at the bar we didnt have to wait very long. Remember your table number for when you go to order your food. The football was being showed on the screens, which wasn't a problem to us, but if you don't have any interest in football this may not be the right place for you. Although there was a quieter area to sit, and there is also a garden to sit in. Excellent service, friendly staff and great food, I would recommend this pub for a Sunday roast."

Popped to this pub last week in our quick trip to Bath last week. The barman was super nice and the food was good, so highly reccommend going here if you are nearby

Came in to get out of the rain and discovered a nice pub with friendly service and quite expensive drinks. There are many screens around the pub, so if you want to see a game. This is the place to be.

We had the rump steak, chicken and crispy bacon, half duck. All and all meals were okay, the rump was a little tuff and the bacon wasn’t crispy, we did want to order all day breakfast or mixed grill but they were unavailable.

Popped inside to get out of the rain and ended up enjoying a lovely drink. The place was very clean and the staff were friendly. There are plenty of TVs within. There was a good selection of fruit ciders available. We didn't eat but food portions on another table appeared small.

Nice pub from the beaten path. Friendly staff who go out their way to help you be comfortable. I came here during the terrible heat wave. The kitchen was closed for 30 minutes. So the bar made sure I was comfortable. Then dinner was served. A great experience and great English food.

Recently (Mitte-Aug 2022) visited bathroom with family (6 adults). Lamb and lion quickly became our meeting place and go to the pub. Clean and tidy. Fast service. Political personnel. Good quality drinks. Good food. Many interiors and a large beer garden. I would recommend to visit everyone!

After a very disappointing experience with the City Sightseeing bus we decided to go and get a drink, after a few minutes walk we found this pub. The staff was friendly and welcoming, we even stopped eating. The mixed grill was huge and the chicken cake was nice. Would definitely visit again when in Bath.

This place served some of the best fish and chips I've eaten in years, crispy batter and tender fish along with some nicely fried chips. My missus ordered a hunter's chicken pie and that was also very good. The staff were so nice and polite it definitely made the lunch experience there even more enjoyable.

We stayed in Bath for four nights and found this pub whilst walking about. The first couple of days we had drinks. The staff were very friendly. On our last day we had lunch here having a selection of the small plates and one person having the sausage and mash. All food was hot and lovely. When we return to Bath we will be back. Thank you.
