"The takeaway prices at this restaurant were deemed too high - £20 for two sandwiches and drinks. The quality of the sandwiches was good, with the bread standing out as particularly better than average. However, the price of £1.70 for an egg was excessive, making a bacon and egg sandwich cost £6.70 to take out. The drinks were disappointing, with a barely hot £3.50 Hot Chocolate and a poorly made tea. The tea was made incorrectly with the teabag added first, then hot water and immediately milk, all served in a takeaway paper cup for £3. Not the proper way to make tea, especially for that price. Surprisingly, even McDonald's can make a better tea for only 99p."

Lovely place inside a lovely place. This cafe has rested many tired legs.

I enjoyed dining at this café, the staff was friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and we especially liked the ginger and lemon drink.

Always a great place for a stop after walking round Burrs. Mostly outdoor seating, which is fine in summer but beware on a rainy day. Lovely food and drinks, better than average. Lots of doggie options too. View menu

It's a lovely walk with dog or without. lots of industrial architecture with ruins of old watermills railway bridges, canals, aqueducts and a river. There are also ponds. As you drive towards the park you will pass a farm with chickens crossing the road. Yes I did ask.

The food and service is really good and we like to go after a walk in the park. The one thing that is really frustrating, particularly on a cold day, is that the door doesn’t automatically shut. So is frequently left wide open when people forget to close it behind them. As there is no porch, you can be often left sat in a draft.

Always lovely staff and a great place however the food prices are extortionate for what you get. £5.50 for a bacon sandwich eeek! In response to the reply which was much quicker than the service (sorry) Nowhere charges those prices for decent bacon and a good roll. Neither do they charge £3.50 for a teeny kids sandwich. A fairly good review otherwise and if it works for you, keep going! View menu

Had a coffee in here before a business meeting in July 2019. Was greeted with a very warm welcome from staff as I walked in, and even though the place was very busy it appeared clean and tidy. Also nice to see a lot of dogs, and clearly a focus on making them welcome. I ordered a large latte, which was brought over to me promptly and served with a big smile (although no little biscuit – which is always a shame! . It was a very nice coffee – smooth and full of flavour. I would definitely recommend, and would certainly call in again when I’m next in the area.

The restaurant is visually appealing and has a decent menu, but I was left waiting for service without anyone coming to take my order. Eventually, I was informed that I had to order at the till, which I found frustrating and decided to leave. In response to the owner's comment, I did not seat myself but was directed to table 7 and given a menu by one of the staff. I was not informed that I needed to go back to the counter to place my order. My "staring" was actually just my attempt to get the attention of the staff to order. It would be helpful to make the ordering system more clear for non-regular customers.
