"there is a lot of positive. the pub is beautiful inside and has a beautiful garden. it is a good accommodation for a Sunday dinner or on a summer evening. I liked that they had biodegradable straws. I also liked that they had a meat-free Monday menu and a few good veggie vegan options the rest of the time. But the main course I had (the tofu coconut catsu style curry) was terrible. there was hardly anything about it and it was totally dirty. when I mentioned the portion size to the server, he checked with the cook who just said it was like that. I don't want to say I don't go back and can't recommend it."

Beautiful park, and an amazing Japanese pagoda. We had a small memorial ceremony there with friends and it was the perfect place for that. Maybe the weather could have been better though ' since we released burning lanterns View menu

Made welcome the moment I arrived after being new to the area. I asked if the pub was fully booked for the England v Czech Republic match the following night and the manager arranged for me to have a good table, after squeezing me in. I enjoyed a good meal and a good few beers. A great atmosphere with great staff and a fun clientel. Can highly recommend. Great pub View menu

very nice decoration, good beer, friendly staff, I had the sweet potato kicherbsen curry and it was very tasty, exactly the right amount of seasoned, good portion. I believe they must have read the previous review and decided to change. hubby had the buddha bowl. colourful with snap bears, caale, broccolini, sweet potato and red paprika, crispy quinoa, the accompanying sauce (Ginger-Mano) was too watery. So, this dish was missing taste. the coffee was really good, but strong.

I am uncertain if Gastropub Well lives up to its name. While the food is decent, traditional dishes like burger and chips and sausage and mash don't quite meet the gastropub standard. The main draw here is the relaxed atmosphere, occasional live music, and a charming beer garden. It is a popular spot among locals of a certain middle-class demographic, offering a great variety of beers and wines. However, for those seeking exceptional food, I recommend continuing down Latchmere Road and visiting the Fox and Hounds. That is a true gastropub.
