fantastic choice of cakes and sweet tasty, good choice of sandwiches. had a sausage and egg sandwich, which was an absolute retter. good coffee, but was not offered.

Lovely, friendly little coffee shop tea rooms, best cup of coffee around.Had the breakfast, small . Delicious, good quality produce perfectly cooked. Well worth a call.

nice cozy caffe with delicious cake selection. had a nice refresher with a friend on a damp miserable day. I can definitely recommend the orange and poppy seed cake, beautiful and light. x

Had a stop off today at The Loft today for coffee and cake to break up our trans pennine bike rise. About 15 different Brownie flavours to choose from. Had great service. Lovely cake, great coffee. Thank you.

This charming cafe has a wonderful variety of cakes and serves excellent coffee at a reasonable price. The portions are generous and we even had some leftover cake to enjoy later. The service was fantastic and we felt genuinely valued and appreciated.

It's such a shame that this cafe is above a nail/beauty salon because the smell of acrylic nails travels upstairs and it's not something that you want to smell when you're trying to enjoy lunch. The cafe itself and service is fine but the smell is really off putting.

this morning the loft visited, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. excellent choice of home made cakes and brownies, delicious coffee nice and hot, and the freshly cooked speck sandwich was delicious. I just wish I would live closer so I could come to visit more often.

I had breakfast at this restaurant on Saturday and everything was delicious. The eggs could have been cooked a little longer for my liking, but the veggie sausages were amazing. The staff were very busy and there was always a line, so a bigger location would be helpful. However, I understand that it might lose some of its cozy charm. The homemade milkshakes, cakes, and brownies were all delicious. The staff were wonderful.
