"very upward and downward review for a very mixed evening meal. they cling in and set themselves up for this one. the servicequiet initially disappointed how to get on a good meal in what should be a good restaurant. Although there were only three tables, we had to track our drinks orders and track them down more quickly. it turned out that on Saturday only three house personnel were in front! I think two of them were not old enough to drink and the others hardly. they were clearly above their head, but on their credit their initial look panic each time I followed an order that turned into dogmatic rest when they were hurling around as best they could lack of experience and short handiness. the foodgreat! I was worried at the time, of course. no personal and children who build the bar! how will the kitchen look? fortunately, the kitchen has been very good eating in a timely manner. it was enough to relax our party and enjoy the tee ingenious from a pot to shake on the floor, as the waiter rushed with a pot under a downward angle. Excellent steak, cooked as we asked, good chips and an excellent Eton fair that could feed the 5000. the other guests when the story ended, everything would be in order. Unfortunately, the restaurant seems to have parked ignorantly in a retired house. the other guests have visited near and often the restaurant. this leads to an Octagenarian pair to be angry with our table. we had an 8-year-old, a 6-year-old, a 3-year-old and two babys. the couple obviously could not treat so many youthful who scream to them rude dinge, and accused us not to be able to control children and claim to have spoiled their evening. I would mention that we were there first and it was quietly empty in there, so any amount of talkesseln could have gone further. the unfortunate rest was that he was almost ruined all night. we suspect that the restaurant wants to visit it, but perhaps the people in the Victorian annoy that they may have to suffer laughing close, warn and that children are now coming to meal, locked in opposite to in closets. the staff has worked very well to calm down all that I have to add."

We went for afternoon tea with work colleagues. One issue was nowhere to park and being winter on a rainy winter afternoon had a fair walk to the venue. We had 2 vegetarians the options were cheese cheese and more cheese re sandwiches. Although we were told we had limitless tea and coffee we weren't checked on to see if we wanted a top up and had to keep asking. All in all lovely settings and venue.. reasonably priced but not the greatest variety re cakes and sandwiches.

My wife and I recently found this restaurant on Bookable. We lived locally and wasn’t aware it even existed; we were not disappointed. We were greeted at the bar by smiley Waitress and offered a cocktail of the cocktail menu. They have just launched the Spring menu which looked really appetizing.I went for the salmon and the Lamb and my husband Risotto balls and the Hake, the food was well seasoned and very tasty.Just before we had finished the Chef came out and chatted to the tables which was nice, Barry or Baz as he asked to be called even told us he previously worked on the set of James Bond! After dinner we relaxed in the Bar, it was quiet but so cozy.We will return for our next date night...

we had the afternoon. our waiter was very pleasant. the food was nice, but it was a shame, no more tea or coffee during the time we were offered to eat. we decide to sit outside after our eating and enjoy the magnificent reasons. I bought a round drink at the bar. I paid it right away. I was therefore a little irritated when we came to go to get blown over the room, I was before the departure to pay my bill for drinks! I said I have already paid to the bar staff scrubbing their shoulders and said ok. some of what worries me to check the payment had gone through and went back into the cash to show my bank app reception as proof to which I said they found it, but thank you anyway. no excuse fo...

beautiful environment but for the negative. we came to the afternoon, the restaurant was empty. we sat on a table that was not laid? we were not presented with a menu of the various possibilities of the tees and a menu of the fillings of sandwiches, we had to ask the waiter who was unclear, he had to find out and ask. the tee arrived, who was a T-bag, not the tees. I had a crimped, that was a cheap herbal T-bagdas eating came on, what was pretty we wanted a tee and coffee refill, we had to go into the bar to ask as no one was asked if we wanted to refill? After conclusion, I wanted to pay with a note of £50 to say that they do not accept £50. considering that the bill was £42, I cannot under...

"December 2021: Glad to be able to visit The Old Orchard at Christmas. They always have a real fire going and mulled wine. Unfortunately, they hadn't started the mulled cider yet but, had a hot toddy; both were wonderful. Well done guy's for offering these. The food , for starters we shared prawn salad, very refreshing. My partner had the chicken and leek pie which was yummy. I had the salmon, which was disappointing, dry and bland, the veggie accomplishment were tasty. January 2020: I really like this place and come here regularly. Looking forward to coming in summer. Having been here many times over the last 4 months, I have to say the menu is limited and boring. Very surprised they haven't thought of changing it or varying it a bit. Also wish they had a few more cosy tables and chairs. Apart from the 1st time we came always get put on a small table for 2 despite asking for a square 4 table and plenty being available. The service could be better, waiters don't write the order down and then forget to bring you drinks. Despite the above I still like this place but, it's these things that is the difference between nice and amazing. December 2019: Came here on Christmas Eve and had a lovely evening. September 2019:Went to The Old Orchard for drinks and dinner on a Friday night. I hadn't booked a table so we had to wait an hour and a half. Which was fine as it was a nice evening we sat outside then had to move in due to it getting a bit chilly. Would have been nice if they had patio heaters, I would have liked to sit outside. Blankets would also be a nice touch. The views are amazing. Food was very good, facilities were clean and the staff were friendly and provided a great service. I will definitely be coming back."
