Visited The Minstrel today for their Friday wine and cheese evening and it really blew me away. Such great food and at such a reasonable price. I lived in Edenbridge for a year and never knew this place existed. I waited a while for my breakfast, but it was freshly prepared and well worth the wait. The service was good and I dined in for breakfast. The price per person was between £10 and £20. I would recommend trying the English Breakfast and Eggs Benedict dishes.

I recently dined at this restaurant for lunch. The price per person was very affordable, ranging from £1 to £10. The food was excellent, receiving a rating of 5, as well as the service which also rated a 5. However, the atmosphere was a bit lacking, receiving a rating of 3. Hush hush... Keep it a secret, but on Friday evenings this charming cafe transforms into a wine bar offering the finest adult cocktails in town and a great selection of wines. We enjoyed a pre-ordered cheese platter that was generously portioned with a delicious variety of cheeses. It made for a delightful date night, made even better by the friendly and welcoming hosts, Simon and Emma.

During a previous visit, I had a pleasant Friday evening here with friends. We tried some delicious cocktails at a great value, as well as a nice bottle of red wine. I would recommend trying one of their sharing platters, such as the cheese board or the olive platter. The staff and owners were very welcoming and took care of us during our visit. We had reserved a table for 6, initially planning to sit outside, but moved upstairs when it started to rain. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.
