"the pub was reopened on Tuesday 5th March and I can just say how it goes beyond all expectations. the work that has gone into it is the second to none and the new peculiarities should be very appreciated for their efforts. the ales are excellent, precisely at the right temperature and clear as a bell. also the wine selection is very good. the pub has a real feeling of “quality” to him, and it is somewhere where they are quite happy after the work in their work clothes, or get dolls-up and have a jolly good night there! the new inn pub is something that has been lacking locality for some time, and given what everyone has seen so far, it will be the place!"

Lovely traditional village inn with great atmosphere. The chef is brilliant producing delicious food. Sunday lunch is the best we've had in ages. Friendly landlords and bar staff.

great beer garden with plenty of space for social distancing and sitting with your dog after a nice walk with the pooch. well worth a visit. Sounds like I need to experience their Sunday lunch one day too.

We visited this friendly country pub on Saturday evening for dinner .The dining room was rustic with charm.The staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered our starters and although I didn't have one the others looked amazing and I was assured tasted amazing too. When our main arrived the presentation was superb and was delicious. My husband said his steak was cooked to perfection. We also indulged in dessert and I would highly recommend the rubarb and rum jelly .A thoroughly enjoyable evening ,can't wait until our next visit.Well done guys ?????️
