"This was my first visit to the restaurant since it was under new management. I ordered the fish and chips, but unfortunately, the fish was severely overcooked. The wait for our food was quite long, and we were surprised by the cost of over £1.50 for just one slice of bread and butter. Despite these disappointments, the waiting staff were friendly and polite whenever we were able to get their attention."

A lovely traditional old pub, that has not been spoilt by going open plan. Lots of small rooms and nooks for you to dine in and feel like you have the place to yourselves. The food and service were excellent with something for everybody from traditional comfort foods to an excellent range of seafood. I would recommend without hesitation

We were a table for 2 who both had returned to have Sunday lunch having both had excellent roast lamb lunches a couple of weeks before. Unfortunately on 15th January it was average. The meat (beef and lamb) was over cooked and tough, the Yorkshire puddings flat and the vegetables over cooked. However, it was well flavoured and the service was good.
