"We went for an evening meal with friends following the post lockdown reopening a few days before. The tables had been well spaced out and there were various other covid 19 precautions in place, which gave the interior a very safe feel. The ale was in perfect condition (I had the wonderful ten fifty from the local grain store brewery in Oakham). On the food side, they’re starting off with a very simple menu and building up from there. They were doing a Thai green curry night on our visit and it was very tasty and reasonably priced. The sticky toffee pudding was out of this world . Bar staff and landlord very friendly and helpful and keen to know what customers want post lockdown. Overall a lovely evening in a very pleasant environment. My wife went to their new daytime cafe with friends earlier in the day and that was also excellent home baked cakes and very good coffee."

Just popped in on the way home from work. Best pizza we have had for a long time and the home made chips were amazing! Highly recommend!

came in and we ordered food, it was pizza night and my little one is allergic to tomatoes, these went above and beyond to help accommodate this for us and did him something off menu so he could have his dinner! thank you so much!

Just had a takeaway pizza from the northwick. As a truck driver I have had takeaway food from all over the country but you will have to travel many miles to get a pizza this good. Very very impressed. Will definitely be back for more.

Happened upon this place and stopped for lunch. The food was outstanding yet the pub was almost empty on a sunday ? clearly word isnt out yet. It was possibly one of the best Sunday roasts Ive ever had .Id maybe add more green vegetable for presentation but 9/10 to the chef and Ive eaten at many great places.

Excellent family experience and pizza was as good as any top Italian restaurant. Great family area to the rear of the pub kids enjoyed a run around on the grass and a good amount of outside seating. Communication up front before visit on camping trip was great and all Covid management was well explained via email before we arrived. Would highly recommend especially the pizzas.
