Lovely meals steak excellent, staff warm friendly, after many visits over a 40 Yr span never disappointing

Great food! I had beef stew and my partner had steak. Cooked to perfection. Friendly staff. Will be back again soon.

Lovely little pub, home cooked food is fantastic and good portions at great prices! Fab service and lovely atmosphere. Landlady is a gem! And lovely friendly staff. Highly recommend!!

Food was wonderful and home cooked and the staff where extremely friendly and helpful, and there beer garden would be great too sit out in the summer sunshine would recommend to anyone as very reasonable prices

Booked at short notice but from first phone call to leaving at the end the day we were dealt with in a professional and competent manner. Nothing was too much trouble, the buffet was extremely good value for money. Everything was fresh and tasty. We...were afforded the resturant area for as long as we needed it and as we were a small group was lovely as we could all sit together and have a good chat. Would recommend this venue and thanks to all the team for their efforts.

Brought my aunt for a bite to eat, she's fallen in love with with the place, food and staff. It was so nice to see how they'd adapted to all things related, I especially liked the one way system in/out and the great table...service from the fab friendly staff. I previously eaten here a couple of weeks before and had the best salmon dish I've ever eaten out, so opted for a chicken dish which was lovely with really great chips. Definitely worth a visit, I'm taking my aunt again!

A friendly local that produces home cooked food of a good quality. We had a vegetarian lasagne made with butternut squash which came with a balsamic dressed side salad and garlic bread. It arrived piping hot and an ample portion which together with a large...glass of wine for people was Great value for money and in a quiet dining room with the odd shout for the World Cup football goals being shown in the bar area. This was an old coaching inn and does not look much from the outside, but the food provided an excellent meal in the evening

of us including children celebrated a birthday with a variety of meals and we all had a lovely time. The food was very nice, tasty, but the service was excellent. We were all served virtually at the same time, no mean...achievement, and Michelle her team seemed very well organised. The Old Dolphin is a years old public house which serves not expensive, tasty meals and has a nice selection of drinks on offer. The Timothy Taylors Landlord bitter went down very well! Some of us stayed for the quiz afterwards. Had a really good evening the Old Dolphin is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Got there after a recommendation from a friend. As soon as we got to the bar the local ‘knobs’ started singing Lola by the kinks. Surprised they had the intelligence to remember the song we had a drink then went to the bar to...order another round and the same guys showed their true intelligence by singing the same song really get a life I would say boys but that is too complimentary so again knob heads come to mind. We are the better ones as we didn’t say anything or retaliate to your low intelligence and have come away feeling good about our year relationships and you are still stood at the end of the bar with no partner between you.
