Busy pub for Sunday lunch, but were slotted in at a convenient time. Service was good, Sunday lunch was well presented, though the beef was a little overcooked. Great desserts.

My partner and I come here in 2011 and always remember how nice the Sunday lunch was , so we booked for Sunday lunch it was absolutely stunning again will definitely be returning

Appalled , food was awful what a disappointment for my son’s 18th birthday!!! Food was basic and 2hrs late not a warm welcome at all will not be returning!!! I suggest they look at their menu and start again.

What you get is a traditional Sunday lunch with fresh produce no freezer veg here. I had the Lamb and my partner the beef. Both meats cooked to perfection and decent size portions. Service was amazing with pleasant staff and very polite. Really pleased we have found this place and will be returning. Recommend going for a long walk to build up an appetite as the meals are filling but don't to leave room for the apple pie.

Enjoyed a catch up with friends in a pub with the moo beau beautiful outlook. 8 people eating eating 6 different meals which were really well prepared, hot, and tasted delicious. 2 of us opted for the home made lasagne, which I feel deserves a particular special mention as it was spot on. Every meal (6 different choices in total) were beautiful. Hot and in plentiful in portion size. In fact only one of us had enough room for dessert. What can I say!? We have visited twice this week,and if we were staying longer we would visit again. Saturday when we went there were 13 of us, and apart from a mix up with ordering everything was lovely. We can thoroughly recommend the steaks..... WOW! 2nd visit was last night and steak was our choice this time, I had Rpast Pork last time and it was a tad dry and wasn't keen on the roast spuds. This time I had Rib Eye Steak and I can truly say it is the best steak I have ever eaten, I chose new potatoes with mine instead of chips. Firstly, go here but book first, it is popular and we were lucky to get a table. In brief, the starter was for us the Double garlic mushrooms in a creamy sauce with very fresh toasted garlic bread. Delicious. Next, Beef and Yorkshire pudding. More than enough meat, delicious home made gravy that added flavour, the beef was cooked beautifully and the Yorkshire pudding was home made, crispy outside and fluffy inside. I booked this pub a couple of weeks prior to the date I wanted to go and spoke to a very helpful staff member who advised that as long as we could arrive by 3pm and leave by 4.30, we could be accommodated. My friend and I managed to arrive earlier than anticipated and were seated straight away, then had our drinks and food orders taken by a lovely lady.
