"party of 4. 2 ordered roast beef, 1 ordered roast pork, vegan sausage option requested. Unfortunately, this would be outdated dry vegetables. no gravure, petersnip or yorkshire pudding as non vegan. the menu price for this £12.95 an alternative of beans...chilli was offered ok. the pig was not so good, the beef was and 2 meal times for £12 very reasonable for quantity. the dessert menu offered no vegan option that was disappointing. there must be a little more thought to offer more choice for diner with allergy dietary problems."

We went for a family pre Christmas meal. The staff were very friendly. All courses of the 3 course meal were delicious and we all had different selections including vegetarian. Will definitely visit again.

we had only a nice meal and the berries crispy sunflower is the best desert I ever tasted... all the workers are so pleasant and friendly. I've been before, but not often, but have to say whether employees are busy or not, so they get it. Best service ever

Passing by at lunchtime, this looked a decent prospect. t We only needed a quick bite, so settled for tti and a cob. These were good and welcome. An attractive bar with tables well spaced. Food menu looked reasonably priced, and seeing the food coming...out they seemed decent value for money. However ... Just on the downside, the Gents was a definite let down.

I was in there last Saturday with a group of walkers. Really enjoyed the all day breakfast along with some apple pie and custard. Everyone else's food looked decent and they all seemed pleased with their choices too. Staff were friendly and helpful to boot...and tables were nicely spaced out. Overall atmosphere was pleasant too. I'd definitely eat in there again :

This place has always been good but we haven't been since pre-pandemic. Been a few times this year and it's better than ever. The food it really good and the main thing for me is that it's always piping hot. Many places these days, you...have to eat your food quickly before it gets too cold, here you can't eat it quickly, it's too hot and that's a good thing, served on warm plates too. I hope the chef reads this, he/she is doing a great job as are all of the staff. Keep up the good work folks. See you soon.
