"This is a fantastic restaurant that I highly recommend. The food is delicious, beautifully presented, and very reasonably priced. There’s an excellent selection of main dishes to choose from, and the place is dog-friendly, which is a nice bonus. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly; nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Jordanien, who made us feel especially welcomed. I suggest making a reservation, as it was quite busy even on a Monday night."

I loved this place. a week with our dog. nothing was too much annoyed for her dog was well treated. amazing eating in the restaurant. quiet. really not enough good things to say. will definitely return at a point.

Great place to base yourself for a visit to North Yorkshire, between the moors and the dales. Staff are friendly and the the food is wonderful. A hugh menu. You can eat a different meal every night. Value for money was excellent.

My wife and I with our dog Megan have just spent 3 brilliant night here. The owners were away but the staff here go above an beyond to make you feel welcome, room superb, food excellent, even spoiling Megan with dog biscuits. We will be back soon. View menu

We were recommended the Old Oak Tree by people we met whilst staying in Thirsk, and what a great recommendation too. Booked a table which was a good idea because it was very busy when we arrived for our 19.30hrs reservation. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, good food, excellent service and lovely atmosphere. Would definitely return and thoroughly recommend.

The dining experience was excellent, with reasonable prices and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I deducted a star because the vegetarian options were somewhat limited. They offered a few choices (I believe three, including the special), but it would have been nice to have a few more options for my wife. It's a delicate balance and can be challenging to get right.

This charming country pub offers delicious home-cooked meals. The outdoor seating area is lovely on nice days; however, it's concerning that children can easily access the parking lot since there are no barriers between the seating and the vehicles. This could pose a risk, especially if they are accompanied by younger siblings. Despite that, I would definitely stop here for lunch again. The honey roast ham sandwich, served with chips, salad, and coleslaw, was delightful. View menu
