"this is the second time that we were in this restaurant. the first time we had jiano zi and noodles. the second time we brought friends to dinner with Beijing duck. it was just. the way they have served it differs a little from the way the Cantonese restaurants would serve it. the evening meal came with cold appetizers, knödeln (jiao zi). . then the main dish, which is crispy skin and flesh. with pancakes they gave a lot to eat for 4 people. we ordered 2 Beijing dinners, which serve four. then came a dessert that was delicious. but we find the defrost a little dry. we were used to eat a suppe as an appetizer and a small Chinese salad. the service was good. the restaurant is run by a couple. the husbabd is the chef and makes his own noodles, which is great. the woman is the host and the waiter. . ambiente beautiful and it is a family restaurant. we all enjoyed the food and the service."

very tasty, light, moderate asian food. we liked well above all without glutamat is a blessing. the facility we would wish a bit more cozy, but eating is really great and for really every taste something is there.

the restaurant is hidden in one of the grindel high-rises, overcrowded inside but with a simple modern ambiente! the Beijingen menu we found totally tasty and will like to come back. also the lunch card read well and has woken our interest! highly recommended! service nice!

small inconspicuous restaurant between high houses. eating is excellent. we had ziao ji, Chinese steamed teig bags with meat or vegetables. we also had their "dim sum", which is fried hargow. we also had beefed beef. next time we'll have their Beijing duck. we were there to try out their Beijing duck, but the others are very tempting. we'll be back. and have only different types of jiao ji plus har gow. tasty! prices reasonable

we got a voucher for this restaurant. we had no choice on the menu, except dessert, they brought us an appetizer for two people who was really good. then they brought us crispy with orange sauce as the main dish. that was excellent! best escape I ever had in an Asian restaurant! as dessert we have chosen baked bananas with honey and grilled bananas with ice. delicious! the prices are in the normal range, so I would say that the price-performance ratio is correct. because my parents recommended the restaurant, here is cooked without glutamat and the website gives a very good impression, I ordered something to me at the one tonight. there was a pine herb salad as an appetizer and baked chicken meat with sweet season. the food was excellent! the chicken was crispy outside and delicate inside, the sweet was al dente and not boiled and the salate was nicely crisp and fresh. simply delicious, appealing and cosy. you like to pay a little more. I'll eat soon in any case before place!

on suggestion of my sister, I went to visit this asiate in the grindel district and was not disappointed. I had a vegetarian sweet start with aubergine as well as a suppe, it had the dee. especially note the fresh preparation that takes place without glutamat. Unfortunately, this excellent natural taste of many restaurants of the same cuisine is no longer used at all. a beautiful experience that I would like to recommend. the chef is a master in the preparation of various types of nudels and lengths directly from the rich central location of the restaurant in second row in one of the grindelhochhäuser in eg, about 100 m from the metro station high-air bridge. definitiw is still a secret tip!

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
