"Went here today, just me a my daughter. I cant actually fault this place. This is the first time we've been here in my opinion its really, really good. They have thought of everything for the young ones in regards to entertain them. Plenty of friendly animals, play area's(inside out), activities, animal talks/presentions, tractor rides. The list goes on. The staff are really friendly, even the youngsters, i say that because sometimes in my exsprience young staff in these places its not always the case but here is very much not so. Also lots of toilets around which is very helpful when you have a little one with you lots of wash stations for after feeding/petting the animals. After paying £30 for the two of us i did think it was a bit expensive for a farm, however having been there today it is worth every penny. We arived at 10am left 3.30pm, we could've proberbly stayed longer, i would most certainly pay that again WILL be coming back. Fantastic day out for all the family no matter what age."

had an amazing day with the whole family. the children loved it. I must see that a lamb is born and the chicks and ducks were so sweet and then all the attractions for the children were amazing. the bouncy kissen zip wire and indoor soft game and dias were a big hit with the kids. can not wait to come back

Enjoyed lovely cream tea today with 2 scones, jam and clotted cream. Huge scones, probably not enough jam and cream for both if I'm honest but tasty. Fed most of 2nd scone to the birds while sitting outside ...relaxing surroundings enjoying sunshine. Good place to visit including other shops of interest and staff very friendly View menu

I love Tiptree products and I love a Tiptree cafe I ordered a cream tea which included 2 scones with clotted cream and a choice of Tiptree jam The scones were lovely the only problem was they were quite large... A good thing you would think but sharing the jam and cream out between them there just wasn't enough so the scones were a little dry unfortuneately The cafe is lovely with lots of outdoor seating and the staff were great, I would visit again just wouldn't have the cream tea maybe one scone with cream and jam would be a better choice

We had such a wonderful time at Barleylands. Molly was especially wonderful: she led the lamb feeding and the small animal petting and spoke to us about the goat that had just been born. The chap who did the Meerkat talk and the one who told us about the eagles were also great. In general everyone there was really lovely. We held a duckling and a chicken, and fed the animals, and the ones we couldn't touch or feed were still great to look at. There's a broad range: donkeys, ferrets, servals, owls,... The ice cream van was cash only important to note to avoid disappointment. I feel a bit sad for the nocturnal animals as lots of parents just let their children scream and stomp around, and ther...

"The Restaurant was a great find. Went there as a party of 3 for my birthday lunch treat today. The lunch menu has limited number of dishes compared to the evening one but are very well balanced. I have never seen kadhi chaval and channa jor garam on a uk restaurant menu, so well done for being so original. The restaurant is located nearest carpark 2, so best to park there. The restaurant decor has many traditional Rajisthani puppets hanging high above the restaurant entrance, nice touch. We ordered 3 starters (Street food) which we shared, they had the correct balance of sweet, hot and sour tastes, although I did compliment mine with additional tamrind, chilli and coriander sauces. We ordered different versions of the Thali. This was impressive indeed. The variety of items, presentation, flavour, temperature and amount of food served in the thali (the circular stinless steel plate) was perfection itself. Every dish had its own traditional Rajisthani unique flavour, could not fault it. Thank you Sohan for your personal courtesy you showed us, the table you had reserved for us, my birthday wishes and for having created a truely great, clean, restaurant with a memorable menu. This was amongst the very best food I have ever had, a great birthday feast. It was a true gastronomic delight for my tastebuds. The restaurant is now firmly on my agenda, a great find indeed. "My husband and I have been regular visitors to this restaurant over the years and never had anything to complain about, so when my husband booked for my Birthday with my family (6 adults and 2 children) we were all really looking forward to a lovely Sunday late lunch/early dinner. Our table was booked for 4.30 and we all arrived on time and were shown to our table straight away. We all ordered pre dinner drinks whilst choosing from the Sunday menu. All of our starters were lovely, including the prawn cocktail and the soup, however unfortunately we cannot say the same for the mains.....3 x beef, which of the two slices were fatty and rather tough, the roast potatoes were very very hard and tough and very difficult to cut through, the Yorkshire puddings were burnt and really quite inedible and the gravy, already on the plate, was very thin and watery. My husband had the lamb shoulder which was extremely dry. Vegetables were served to the table and consisted of carrots, parsnips and large slices of onion and swede mash, not a green vegetable in sight. We also had a bottle of wine which we continued to pour ourselves throughout our meal.......in the 'old days ' the wine was always poured for us! It was plain to see when we were 'finished ' eating our meals that there was so much left on our plates as not one of us enjoyed the dinner at all and it was all very dissapointing, hence we all turned down the offer of dessert, although my grandson ordered the kids brownie and ice cream which he enjoyed! Overall our visit was really really disappointing and sorry to say we left the restaurant all saying the same.....we will not be visiting again soon!"
