"We went to this restaurant to celebrate our GCSE results and we were not disappointed. The weather was nice, so we sat in one of the outdoor seating areas. The menu was diverse and enticing. We started with some appetizers to share, followed by a selection of main dishes including rump steak, pizza from the outdoor wood-fired oven, prawns with black spaghetti, and a delicious mixed seafood dish (can't remember the name). The food was amazing and very fresh. If we had more time, we would have stayed for dessert as well. The drinks menu was impressive, with a variety of quality ales, lagers, and even mocktails for our 11-year-old to enjoy. The service was just what we were hoping for: attentive and knowledgeable without being intrusive. This wasn't our first visit (we enjoyed that one too) and we are looking forward to coming back again. Price per person: £40-50. Food: 5. Service: 5. Atmosphere: 5."

We were a bit hesitant at first due to some mixed reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was truly outstanding. We opted for the Sunday lunch three-course meal and it was fantastic - beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The staff were attentive and never stopped. It was a beautiful and unforgettable dining experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Attended last night, parking was a nightmare, eventually was shown to my table after paying £6.50 for a Belgium lager, and £7 for a glass of prosecco, we waited an hour for our food which when arrived was luke warm. The ambience is nice but overpriced and overcrowded,I thought I was in London not a sleepy village in leicestershire Price per person: £40–50 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Such a disappointing place on a Friday evening for a birthday celebration at the garden. We requested 5 things , and we were denied with big NO. 1) Can we have a birthday cake from outside? NO 2) Can we have a dessert with birthday card or note? NO 3) Can we have burger? NO 4) Can we have milkshake? NO 5) Can we have a birthday song from the guitarist? NO The only things you can do in the garden part there are breathing and having pizza. Absolute disgrace. Service: 1 Location: 4

The Sunday roast beef with chicken livers was absolutely perfect. The service was attentive and friendly, with all condiments offered quickly and extra gravy brought without any issue. We also enjoyed a delicious sticky toffee pudding. The prices were reasonable and the only improvement would be a bit more shade on the outside tables. Overall, a perfect dining experience. Price per person is around £30-40. Food and service both rated 5 out of 5, atmosphere a 4 out of 5. Highly recommend trying the Sticky Toffee Pudding.

We drove 55 minutes just to go to the ‘Pizza and Sax Night’ at The Pear Tree Inn as friends had recommended it. Staff were lovely, food was great! The guy playing saxophone was incredible and we really enjoyed it. We ordered a Margherita pizza and a Nduja pizza both brilliant and we had takeaway boxes provided too to bring home! We also had the fries which were a small portion but they were really good. We tried the Green Dip which was advertised for the pizzas but personally we weren’t a fan it was too sweet for us. They do have other condiments, we had mayonnaise instead. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

"Wow. The the quirky situation is a fabulous first impression. The friendly greeting made us feel so welcome. The attention to hygiene and protection made us feel safe. The self explanatory simple online ordering system was fun with the opportunity to personalise your order where...possible. The service was kind, thorough and knowledgeable. The food was flavoursome, fresh and inventive. I’m a vegetarian- in a burger place and enjoyed my choices. This is by far not my first visit here. They do change things up and keep it interesting. I was with my 12 year old child and partner on a spontaneous trip after the cinema. It was the perfect fit for a grown up and fun occasion. I requested a surprise cocktail as my second drink. Mr Tim Garratt completely blew my mind. He is an expert professional craftsman mixologist extraordinaire. I don’t know this but think he reviewed my previous cocktail to give him and indication of my taste. In a shake a mysterious mesmerising delicate pink coloured cocktail in the perfect glass encased in a mystical bubble was presented to me. I was hypnotised. When the bubble burst it was the beginning not the end of this exotic experience. The fragrance was intriguing, a mist swirled out of the glass towards me. The temperature was perfectly cool and inviting. The taste was idyllic. Subtle, refreshing, delicate, alive and the best drink I have ever ever tasted. I didn’t savour it, I lived it and loved it and it was gone so quickly. I instantly ordered another. This cocktail was a grapefruit and cucumber daiquiri. To me there’s nothing finer. All 3 of us had a memorable experience and exciting different brave flavours. Everything about Slider Town Loughborough @slidertownloughbouough is individual and excellent. By the way it is bizarre coincidence that we share the same last name. I have no connection to anyone @slidertownloughborough but would be happy to!"
