"Well now, the 'famous ' Boston Burger is the absolute nuts! The beef burger itself is cooked in bacon dripping and is topped with beer soaked onions, cheese, bacon, pickle, mustard and the pièce de résistance, peanut butter. This may sound a little strange but it 's similar to a satay sauce and it really works brilliantly and tastes great. I upgraded the standard skinny fries to truffle chips for an extra pound which elevated the entire meal to exquisite. Is it worth £14.75? Its certainly debatable as it is pricey but I was immensely satisfied after the meal so I 'd say yes! Service is the wrong side of laid back unfortunately and there were several times during the course of the meal when the waitress was nowhere to be seen. Although she seemed to be by herself there weren 't that many people eating so I 'd expect just a bit more attentiveness. However all the staff seemed to be pretty chilled. The Plough itself is a great, open plan venue with an eclectic mix of modern day furniture and a cool vibe. If you like your beer there are lots of options including craft beers, ales and exclusive foreign bottles. Despite the service issues overall this is a winner :"

The food at the pub was delicious and the service was efficient and friendly. Spoke to one of the staff called Ross who was welcoming and helpful and overall we had a great experience. Will definitely be back!

We arrived and were handed a very extensive menu only to be told that there were only two items available burgers! We waited over 40 minutes to be served extremely average food with inedible chips they were so greasy! There was no apology and quite frankly it felt like too much trouble! Never again! View menu

Truly terrible. There were hardly any staff working during a busy Sunday lunch service, and the food was incredibly bland. It's hard to understand how they can label it as 'the ultimate roast' when it lacked seasoning, flavor, and was not even reasonably priced. The few staff members who were working were very friendly, but there simply weren't enough of them to handle the workload.

Great Night!. Ate at The Plough on 21st February with a few family members. Lovely evening, lovely staff as they were helpful and smiley; always asked to top up our drinks. We ordered their special parrot wings to start, with celery sticks and a gorgeous blue cheese sauce with two shots of Sailor Jerry's rum. Also, off their Small Plate options, Salt Beef sliders which are like two mini burgers. For mains, we ordered 3 Big Easy Burgers definitely in my top 3 of best burgers ever. (The first is also at The Plough called the Boston Burger with Peanut Butter!! Dessert, we shared a lemon meringue pie and a Reese's Cupcake Cake (peanut butter mousse layered chocolate cake with custard . Overall,...
