"First time back in a while and it did not disappoint! Great choice in food that caters for everyone. I went for the garlic chicken baguette from the light bite menu and there was nothing light about it! Huge baguette and homemade chips. Extremely good for money. The service was second to none. Previously it has been order at the bar but this time around it was table service. This makes the experience more personal and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend"

Not been for a couple of years. What a difference much brighter, the food still great portions, I had the Christmas sandwich it's massive!! But I managed. Biggest change staff seem so much happier more welcoming and cared that you enjoyed it. Will be back very soon

For years, The Poachers has been one of the best restaurants in the area. Nice to see that they extend the menu with influences from other kitchens despite their namesake, you will not really find game here, but you will find a perfect mix of affordable pub food properly made. Add to decent drinks options, nice staff and a cozy atmosphere, and you have a place I would not hesitate to recommend for everyone after a quick bite.
