"I had friends visiting from England and wanted to find a nice place in the area. Wow, I couldn't have chosen a better spot! The restaurant offered a great selection of food, impeccable presentation, and beautiful surroundings. The highlight of the experience was the stunning location, with some of the dishes inspired by the charming local shops. I particularly loved that my breakfast included ingredients I bought from the market that morning. Thank you for providing such a lovely dining experience in an immaculate environment. I've already recommended this fantastic find to many friends, and I can't recommend it highly enough! On a side note, after leaving the restaurant, we continued along the coast for coffee and cake at Daft Eddy's on Sketrick Island. Unfortunately, the prices were similar, but the service was awful, and the restaurant was dirty, with unwell staff. I really wish I had just enjoyed my meal at the Poacher's Bag, as I would have undoubtedly had another amazing experience there!"

Excellent food and great service. Was there yesterday, 12th July and had a fantastic meal with my family. Very friendly attentive staff and the quality of food was really great at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Stumbled upon this place just out looking for somewhere to have lunch. Very rustic, well presented restaurant. Staff was very friendly and professional. Food was phenomenal, will definitely be back and would highly recommend a visit!

Beautiful restaurant with mouth watering food, We had a table of 12 and everyone had a fabulous meal. Staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful. The building has lots of charm throughout the little pub, restaurant store. First class.

I had the best starter ever!! You must try the mix platter for two it’s amazing!, when your friends say great things about a restaurant and you go and it’s ok well not this time it got a 10/10 in my book. Will be back again again. If you haven’t been yet get your arse in gear and go!!

Poachers Pocket was recommended by a friend when my father-in-law from Edinburgh came to visit, and we were in search of a place with live music for the week. We were certainly not disappointed! The venue was stunning, and the staff were attentive and incredibly friendly. The food was exquisite, and the atmosphere was just what we were hoping for. It truly is a gem of a place, and we would definitely recommend it to family and friends. The online booking system is also very practical and easy to use.
