"the higher price for typical pub dishes (round pfunde for burger or fish and chips) let them expect real fresh and beautifully cooked British dishes. Unfortunately, the expectation stops when you order. I just asked if the cake was homemade, which was not. the fall was, then I chose the fish and chips. but it was the low standard. baked teig was boiled, dark and hard, then the fish a little dry. fries were frozen or at least with a floury texture. that's not delicious. but the beer was fresh and good, then they go after drinks in this pub, which probably changed the chef when I think the pictures on tripadvisor."

Our waiter was so charming and very helpful. He worked so hard in a packed room and never stopped smiling throughout service.

Lovely atmosphere, great food and hard working, attentive staff. We shared a selection of the small plates and thought they were all excellent. Will definitely go again as we felt very well looked after!

we stopped at a nice day at a large outdoor area for a few drinks! it was the perfect opposite and had many tables for people to enjoy the sunshine! we got our drinks, but we have seen that server come out to also order!

Popped in on the off chance after having a look at the menu outside. Very welcoming atmosphere and incredibly delicious food. All of the staff were very pleasant but Liam looked after us extremely well throughout our meal. He was charming! View menu

Great Service We went looking for a Sunday roast and found this gem in Pimlico. They were still serving a full roast menu at o clock in the evening. There was a small hick-up with our order but this was addressed immediately. The service...was exceptional, very attentive and considerate. We had a lovely meal and felt well looked after. Will definitely return and recommend.

Wheelchair user (never posted before) Booked online then rang to check access (no opportunity to specify or add information online). Told the table was upstairs and that there was nothing they could do (blaming the system and advising me to book earlier next time). Was...passed on to a remarkably rude manager who literally would not let me make a point, because it won't make any difference He would not give his name and then hung up on me! Given that the the website didn't specify upstairs/downstairs, I wondered whether another booking could simply have been switched to upstairs

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
