Worse place for Sunday dinner in the area.. food was cold and way overcooked and the chef drinking lager? Will not be going back

We came for the pub’s quiz night, had some great pints and had an amazing time. Atmosphere was amazing and landlord and landlady were excellent hosts. Will be returning!

Hi, went for a carvery for the first time, thought we’d try pubs on our doorstep, it didn’t disappoint, food and service was excellent, it was the best pub carvery I’ve been too, it’s a friendly family pub of which we will definitely be going back View menu

This place serves the best Sunday lunch! Really well cooked choice of meats and a wide selection of vegetables on the carvery. Fab roasties! Warm welcome and family friendly, desserts tempting but too full to try one. Maybe next time! We will be back. Great value as well.

Lovely pub, friendly staff and pub dogs, great garden with a play area and some chickens, ducks and rabbits so brilliant for the kids too! Lovely fresh food and very affordable! Also hold great bank holiday events with live music and games! Perfect place to pop into with the kids!

Went for a carvery today don’t know why I haven’t been here in years everything delicious and staff are very friendly and attentive to any of your needs and omg there chocolate brownie and ice cream to die for love and will definitely be back also very good prices the large plate will blow your mind View menu

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. The carvery had a great selection of meats and vegetables, and the beef was delicious. The Belgian waffle with ice cream for dessert was fantastic. It was also very affordable. I stayed for the live music in the other room and had one of the best afternoons in a while. The landlady and landlord were amazing, always willing to help. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

The service and food at this restaurant were absolutely fantastic. It was my first time visiting, and a large group of us went today to see a band performance. The Sunday carvery was delicious, with perfectly cooked food and a great selection of sides. The service was excellent, with staff serving us with a smile. The kids enjoyed the outdoor play area and seeing the animals there, and so did the adults. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and will definitely be back soon. Thank you once again!

We had a wonderful experience at The Railway when we met up with friends. The Sunday carvery was outstanding, with fresh, plentiful options and great value for money. The dining room is spacious and bright, leading out to a renovated beer garden with a children's play area and even chickens and ducks. We enjoyed a delicious pint of Pedigree expertly poured by the landlord, and the staff worked tirelessly to ensure our visit was enjoyable. We highly recommend The Railway and look forward to returning in the future. View menu
