"This was my first visit to the Red Lion since the management changed. I received an excellent welcome, enjoyed a great atmosphere, received exceptional service, and ate top-notch food. The pie I ordered was particularly outstanding. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to my friends, and it is now on my list of places to visit again. A big thank you to all the staff!"

Landlord and lady were so welcoming a nice warm fire to sit by food was amazing well worth a visit if we are up this way again we will definitely visit again

This was a Hall Woodhouse pub with the usual pub food and H W beers. We had 2 starters each for lunch which were excellent. Not the cheapest pub in the area, but worth the visit. We will return. View menu
