The pub is charming with a large outdoor area, delicious BBQ food, and a talented singer who provided excellent entertainment during our visit.

We visited The Red Lion in Kirby with our family. The food was lovely, home cooked, generous portion and well priced. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Definitely will be visiting again.

Great Pub! We went here at the end of July 2020 and it was great. It was well laid out for social distancing due to Covid and had a large outside seating area. They had live music that was brilliant and the food was tasty with fast service. Overall great pub! View menu

today after catching up on what a big little pub the dame behind the bar was very polite and the food we ordered comes great, chris has a lot of engagement it seems for the pub and I am so happy that we finally have a good manager on board. keep the mega-burger please it is a classic x

We visited today and the Sunday roast was absolutely amazing perfectly cooked meats, fluffy roasties and so much food we didn't need dessert. The pub has a lovely environment, very cosy and welcoming, as well as friendly and accommodating staff, especially Nick. Prices are also great for everything you get! Will definatly visit again very soon!

It is essential to serve good wine at a reasonable cost, such as A Dark Horse (which is a personal favorite) priced at £7.50 a bottle in the supermarket, making it cheaper wholesale. Both the red and white wine would complement the meal beautifully. For me, if the wine selection is not up to par, I would not return no matter how good the food is. this is my local pub and it is one who has changed the hands a few times and they have never put a finger wrong, they were always kind and everything in their work. today we visited after a bad experience in another pub. I was about 10 minutes before we arrived on a Sunday at midday and they were amazing that they said they had one table for two. we have there and everything I can say is the new people who are working now, their were so courteous and the service and eating was amazing! they make amazing fry! 10/10

Our experience at the restaurant started off well with prompt seating, menus, and drinks. However, there was a 30-minute wait for our food, which seemed a bit long considering the restaurant was busy. The waiter was not knowledgeable about the beer selection, even though it was a CAMRA recommended pub. The burgers we ordered were overcooked and dry. The service was initially good, but there were issues with follow-up service, such as delays in ordering dessert and coffee. Overall, there were some areas of concern that could be improved upon.

I had an unfortunate experience at a restaurant recently. I suggested we have a family lunch there, but unfortunately, they were not prepared. After waiting for an hour, we were informed that they had run out of cooked rice for one of our dishes and asked if we were willing to wait an additional 20 minutes for more to be made. Hungry and frustrated, we ended up ordering fries which did not complement the dish at all. The food was served sporadically, with the lamb chops being delayed because the gravy was still being made.
