"We parked just down from the apartments which worked out well with 24 hour parking. The apartment was warm, comfortable and very clean in a perfect location for down town and the historic area around the cathedral. It is on a steep hill, but is about halfway up so not too tiring either way! It was a lovely quiet location with a tuneful wren outside in the early evening singing away. A handy table and chairs are outside your door too. We liked the kitchenette and would have made use of it had we stayed longer."

After visiting Lincoln a few times, my usual routine includes stopping at a cafe either at the top or bottom. The hot drinks here are affordable and the cake was amazing. The treat was exactly what we needed.

The restaurant always offers friendly service and great coffee. My wife absolutely loves it. It's a cozy spot for cold weather, with lovely customers. Located halfway up or down Steephill, it's just what you need.

A real gem of a place on Steep Hill. Perfectly situated between the Bailgate and the town centre. The owners, Steph and Paul, are friendly and welcoming. A special mention to Seb who makes excellent coffee; I love the cappuccino and flat white here. Seb is also polite and interested in the customers and there is always a great atmosphere at The Rest.
