"Friendly pub, lovely location by the River Otter. Great to sit outdoors on a sunny day. Met up with 16 others for a meal. Good choice of food drinks they do a 2-4-1 main meal menu. Always friendly service from the staff fresh hot food with good portion sizes. We have eaten here multiple times will return again soon. "Can 't say I 'd been impressed with any menu on the 'net before attending but friends wanted to take me for a 'special ' birthday lunch. I remember Combe House in the 'olden ' days a real treat and fabulous cordon bleu food tried not to compare with that but.....definitely not worth the ....1 non alcoholic drink, 2 glasses of Bolli 22 a glass. 2 venison with no potatoes and only 1 small portion of red cabbage on the plates, and 1 lemon sole looking very lonely with nothing else! 1 glass Pinot Noir and tap water. 1 pear pudding and 2 coffees over 200 plus helped themselves to 23.66 'discretionary ' service charge. but with no mention of that! The menu was illegible the print being far too small, staff were pushing any extras they could and waiting staff constantly interrupted sentences i.e. rude/ill trained. Clearly someone considers this a clever money making ruse and if people are prepared to pay well over the odds for very little then they 're winning, but to me it 's a silly ploy. with ghastly tasteless pigs littered all over the venue, and ruins what once was a very special place to dine/enjoy even the name seems wholly inappropriate. How sad an end to what was once my favourite place to dine."

"Living locally and never visited the White Hart before we thought we would give it a try. We saw it was under new management as it seems to have had a chequered past with various managers. Well we were pleasantly surprised pub is great with plenty of space both indoors and out lots with ample parking. Drinks are very reasonable with a good selection but the food was great. Both my wife and I had rump steak which was cooked perfectly, came with all the trimmings which was great. Another customer came in and picked up pizzas which you can takeaway. Will certainly return and recommend, waiting for the Sunday roast to be on the menu, if as good as the steak then we will return with friends/family keep up the good work!!"

"in a nearby hotel we stayed a thai. only takeaway available. tom yum suppe, die fried chili and basilikum and curry dishes, all Thai sprinkle dishes, were authentic and excellent. no “Dämmen nach Bottom” on spicy content or missing galangal, sacred basilikum, which is often...the case with European exaggerated, probably for cost reasons. no delay in the recommended."

"I stopped by this restaurant while traveling for work and, although I likely won't be in the area again, I would definitely make a special trip if I had the chance. The food was exceptionally well-prepared, and we ordered a variety of dishes that were flavorful and perfectly balanced. Everything was served hot and very quickly. We left feeling quite satisfied, and at around £15 per person, it was great value for money. I highly recommend it! As for parking, there is plenty available right on the street outside. We dined in."
