"A Wednesday early evening. Disappointing food quality and menu options compared to the pictures on their Facebook page. Must be a change of chef/cook? Previously very good quality food although this was weekend visits. Atmosphere not good with ĺoud swearing individual dropping the f word frequently at the bar. Food served by an individual that wreaked of stale cigarettes. EDIT In response to the owners comments 1) I was not rude. 2) The whole pie was not eaten. The pastry was mainly inedible like concrete cooked twice? 3) Correct, we did not pay for the meal, which was only fair AND you did offer to refund the drinks which I declined as there was nothing wrong with the drinks so I'm being fair. 4) If you had checked back sooner I would have told you there was a problem. In summary it was a poor experience compared to previous visits which I gave good praise for at the time. The food served today was not worthy of a two for a tenner offer I expected better. You also fail to answer the other points raised such as the foul language by a customer when children were present. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2"

"I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with a fresh and healthy menu. "I recently dined at this establishment and had a wonderful experience. For my meal type, I would classify it as "Other," which really captures the relaxed vibe of the place. The price was incredibly reasonable, with a cost of just £1–10 per person. Everything I tried was delicious, earning a perfect score of 5 for the food. The service was equally impressive; the staff were attentive and friendly, also receiving a 5. "I’ve never been before, we came yesterday for family dinner looking forward to a roast lunch dinner. The menu only had a choice of lamb or beef, not liking beef the choice for me was lamb. Within minutes a lady came to advise the lamb “had just sold out” I said I didn’t like beef but no other option was given and I therefore had to have the beef. The meal arrived the Yorkshire’s were not risen and burned. The vegetables were very nice the beef was shaped like a block mine was dry and over cooked. My husband had poured gravy all over his so he couldn’t tell but I don’t like a lot of gravy on my food and I could tell I gave my beef to him. We ordered a burger/cheese/bacon meal for our 12 year old, I made it really clear to the young girl to plead only out cheese/bacon/burger on and no healthy stuff no onions nothing she laughed and said she has a brother who is the same so understands we ordered the adult version as it said the children’s was for 10 years and under. My sons burger arrived with a load of crispy onions lettuce and tomatoes everything we had asked NOT to be added, I took the food off but he wouldn’t touch it having seen the salad was on it! After eating my main it was a massive disappointment to see the man behind us being served a roast lamb dinner when I was told it had all sold out!!!! I had ordered fruit crumble this was a massive portion in a bowl the crumble topping was nice but the fruit underneath tasted like melted jam rather than just gently cooked fresh fruit there was more fruit sauce than fruit making it quite sloppy I had a couple of mouthfuls and left it."

"Been a couple of times recently and it's been very pleasant. A really nice comfortable pub/bar in a great location. A fantastic range of drinks that suit every need and a food offering that ticks a lot of boxes. The team were super friendly and welcoming, even on a busy new years eve (early evening) and we felt very relaxed and at home with out two little kids too which was great. Nice to find somewhere the parents can enjoy a drink whilst the kids are catered for also. There's a kids food menu which was good also with our little ones having chicken strips, chips and peas...they loved it. Will definitely be heading back in the new year."
