Wonderful tradition pub selling pints at a sensible price. Lovely atmosphere and hospitality offering great food and freshly cooked vegetables. Good selection of traditional dishes and offering excellent value for money.

I have been there a couple of times each time the food has been excellent all freshly cooked and plenty of it,on the 8th we went there as family for my grandaughters 21st they did us proud and owners are lovely people they made my grandaughters birthday special some thing she won't forget thank you so much Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My partner and myself went here for our anniversary dinner and had a lovely time! We both had a dinner off the specials board and it was beautifully presented and there was plenty of food served. I have food allergies and they catered to my needs and were very friendly and polite about it. We had a lovely evening and would definitely recommend going here and we will be visiting again soon! We are regulars here for Sunday lunch which is lovely and such good value!!We then decided to have our wedding here last week.what can I say,they really pulled out all the stops for us,nothing was too much trouble and they made the room look amazing,I was blown away when I walked in to see it on the day! I can’t recommend them enough,a lovely family who always make you feel so welcome!!thank you again to all at the Robin Hood who made our wedding day so perfect�

both our family and our dog were made to feel really welcome. I was particularly impressed by the manage and great service we received. some of the high-brow restaurants that charge the earth could be a lection of the young man who serves us our food. service was polite and efficient and yet unobtrusive. also the bar staff was excellent. they were very friendly and accommodating for our dog and it felt like a really dog-friendly environment. eating was good and the desserts excellent. Visited after a day out in London, arrived late due to torrential rain and train disruption but the welcome could not have been nicer. There was a party going on and a live band, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so friendly, felt like a great big family. Food was typical pub grub, flavoursome and hearty portions I had the steak and Stilton pie, absolutely beautiful. It felt like a real community hub, there was a Royal British Legion raffle, and tables with poppies and all the other RBL merchandise to buy, but no pressure, Just a lovely evening and I would definitely recommend it!
