"At the time of booking the table. It was said there was no booking under my name and they had no tables available. No internet in the restaurant, so had to go outside to make a screenshot of my confirmation went back to prove that I had made a reservation and the staff said... oh you have booked it with open table and their reservations do not come through our systems?! Apparently, this is not the first time that this happened. We got a table, even if they had nothing at their disposal??? Someone must bring their act together"

Food was lovely, great service even though they were busy

We go quite often, but this time it was very busy (sunday meal) and we and other guests were waiting for meals for over an hour. I hope this was just a gorge as we enjoy going there.

Dined for mum’s birthday. Table booked for 8pm wasn’t ready which was fine as a couple of the party of 6 were slightly late. Very slow service, 3 courses had by all and enjoyed. Will visit again.

Yes I would recommend the Rose and Crown but I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use Open table to book the table. The pub had no recognition of our booking and had never heard of Opentable. Thankfully they managed to accommodate ya at very short notice!

Excellent food good atmosphere definitely will be returning soon. Our only negative was the table we sat at outside wasn’t very clean and had dirty glasses left from the people before on the whole time we ate our meal and our plates were not collected after we had eaten for a long time.

Table booked for15:00hrs eventually sat down at 15:30, managed to order food about 16:00 eventually got served starters 45 minutes later, mains came eventually after several times of asking. As for deserts they seemed to take ages.. We have been several times before. Will not be returning....

When we arrived, there were no records about our table? the customer service that followed was not great, although I showed them the memory of open table... 3/4 hour served to place 1h20 minutes between our starter and main course... Food was ok, but we have there at 7:30 and not finished eating until 11pm very disappointing

every busy night and waiting time for her eating was long, starter of mushroom in cheese was nice second cure came, we were asked if we needed something we had after salt and pepper after 5min of our dinner sat before us and no waiter in ourselves we began to eat our steaks which was cooked on the rare side when we had asked about medium-blooded
