"My partner and I stayed at this hotel for a birthday getaway and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The service was impeccable, with the staff being extremely polite, accommodating, and helpful. Our room was gorgeous and tranquil. We dined in the restaurant for my birthday meal, and the food and service were excellent. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We decided to have the cooked breakfast, which was an extra cost as the continental breakfast was included in the price, and once again the food was cooked perfectly. This hotel is a great choice for a high-quality getaway, and we will definitely be returning in the future to dine in the restaurant for a lovely evening meal. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-maintained. The food and drinks offered a fantastic variety and were cooked to perfection."

I discovered that this restaurant was very clean and well-maintained. The food was cooked well, but the portions were on the smaller side and the prices were a bit high. The table service was lacking, as the staff would bring more drinks but fail to clear away the empty glasses. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 3, the service a 3, and the location a 4.

This charming hotel has a lot of character and friendly staff. The breakfast is great and I highly recommend staying here. Our room had a lovely view of the garden and was both cozy and quiet. I give the rooms, service, and location all a 5-star rating. Highlights of the hotel include its great view, romantic atmosphere, peaceful surroundings, and excellent value for money.

Lovely 18th century hotel, however it shows signs of neglect, we have been placed to an outer building on the side of the hotel, the room opened right from the backyard. It looked nice, however the room smelled that it was not used for a very long time, it was musty, mouldy and, everything dusty, also cold, the heating wasn't working. Rooms: Check the room before occupying accepting it to not end up like us. Rooms: 1 View menu

A very old building with a quirky layout, but it has a charm that you cannot ignore. The hosts are very welcoming and knowledgeable, only too pleased to answer any queries. They have made the best of the rooms in what I can imagine was not easy in a place that old. They are acceptable, having most things you would require if not quite 5 star. Food drinks: Had an evening meal and the food was plentiful and delicious, with good service. There is loads of choice on what can only be described as a comprehensive menu.

fantastic overnight for our 29th high-time day, we were warmly welcomed and informed that we were updated! beautiful room, absolute luxury makes our celebration all the more. the personal is so friendly and accommodating. we were not able to use the restaurant as our family had made other arrangements for us, but if the complete English breakfast was everything to go past, I have no doubt the other meals would be high quality. many thanks to once again to all in the roundabout hotel definitely recommend and plan to visit again.
