"I booked the a two night deal at the Royal Court to celebrate my friends birthday. We would recommend it to any one who is looking for a two or three night stay. The staff are polite and the room was spacious and clean. I actually went to the hotel a week beforehand to check what sort of room we had because some of the cheaper rooms have a Velux window which I didn't want. The receptionist look up my detail's and assured me it wouldn't be one of those rooms. She told me that it would be a deluxe room. A week later when we arrived at the reception the receptionist said hello Mr Young nice to meet you again. The Sunday evening we had the Carvery and ond Monday we had the al carte menu for my Lady friends birthday. The Hotel overlook,s the the Royal Portrush Golf Course and great views of Co Donegal and the Giant Causeway. Also on the clear days that we had you can see Scotland. I would highly recommend the Royal Court to anyone, but book early to make sure you get the right room that suits you."

Had a lovely family dinner at the restaurant. We enjoyed the carvery on a Tuesday night which was delicious. The hotel has been refurbished and is looking more modern. Would highly recommend if you’re up in the north coast.

Arrived having not booked on a busy Sunday at peak time. It was incredibly busy but we got a nice corner table in the bar area. Just did one course £18) which was incredibly filling. Great staff who were very helpful. Food was fantastic and lots of meat choices. We left full and very happy

Food was average, service was minimal….price was extreme for what it was. We had the carvery lunch for 3 adults and 2 kids, no drinks and it was £112 (almost $200 cad)! The food was ok but nothing amazing. Our table was in the bar area so we did not get to enjoy the beautiful view of the main dining area. View menu

Had dinner here on Friday evening I ordered the roast hake with lemon butter which cost £20 with an extra £3.50 for a side order of chips I was served a dried up piece of hake with no sauce or lemon butter .My husbands half a roast duckling was a very small beast and wing no leg as is usual .We were both extremely disappointed .with the quality of cooking .

Where here for a family lunch, wonderful location overlooking the beautiful coastline beaches. I had the carvery and it was excellent, meat cooked to perfection, a couple of our group had the fish and that was also perfect. It was really quite busy on the Friday afternoon that we were there and I can see why. Excellent food, excellent service excellent location.

Very enjoyable time with family, with very nice food and impressive views. We arrived at 7:30 expecting to eat off the main menu, but were offered the Carvery which really we were too late for. It was very tasty with large portions of meat. All the staff were very friendly, chatting and gladly took a photo of the table for us all. We finished the meal with great Irish coffees and lattes. We had dinner here recently. There was confusion when we arrived about tables but was quickly sorted by our server Nicola. I had a steak burger minus bread. Other half ordered monkfish. My poorly made burger came on a bed of cold tomatoes which meant the whole dish was cold. And minus Ballymaloe relish. The only warm food was the chips. Burger was said to be McAtamneys beef and home made by the chef. Hard to believe as it was such poor quality. If i was the chef I would not serve that! Other half was served 4 fish nuggets with Uncle Ben's sweet and sour sauce and rice from a jar. Absolutely disgraceful. We will not be back any time soon. Staff were nice.

Thought we’d try the Friday lunch carvery here after a lovely week’s holiday in Northern Ireland (staying in an Airbnb). Hotel was heaving and like a retirement convention but hey ho, but the carvery was no better than a school canteen. The guy was miserable as hell cutting the meat, the beef was so overcooked it was crumbling, the only veg was some mashed swede and carrot thing and some watery cabbage. Yes it was hot but forgettable and actually a lot worse than you’d get from a £9.99 Toby Carvery offering. The trouble is, the previous Sunday we’d had the carvery at The Bushmills Inn which is probably the best carvery we’ve ever had, cooked to perfection and every separate part was a deligh...

"Visited lost Found in Portstewart last Friday afternoon for some lunch. Checked the outdoor menu which stated food served until 3.30pm. Went ahead on inside. Started to briefly read the menu at the till as aware from previous visits that you order on arrival yourself at the counter. Was told by the female counter staff that we had 8 minutes to place our order and to take the menus to the table. We did this. Then when we said excuse me to the same member of staff, from our table, that we’d like to order, we were told we had to come back to the till. This made no sense whatsoever. From the moment we stepped in and were told that we had 8 minutes to order should have been the red flag I guess. Friday afternoon, not long till closing, they just didn’t want to be bothered prepping two rounds of food, The two members of staff in the premises had the worst attitude and no ounce of personality to be in the role that they are in. Every thing seemed to be a complete bother. May I also add, the food was very skimp, re portion sizes plus they seem to care more about the presentation than the food itself re the logo branded paper underneath the food. Try attempting to cut sourdough bread on this, not easy unless you want a mouthful of paper. Then when it comes to hot drinks, no sugar or milk provided. Yet again had to approach the till and ask for these to be provided with milk in a paper cup yet another couple had a glass jug of milk on their table (less dishes to wash I guess) and no white sugar at all, had to make do with brown sugar for tea. When asked for refills of hot water we were given a half full glass of this and then when asked for it to be filled up, yet again a whole botheration. Oh and don’t even get me started on the toilet facilities. Dingy to say the least. The premises in portstewart should never have reopened when it did as Lost and Found, previous owner/cafe was far more superior in all ways. Will not be back"
