"3 of us went on a Sunday early evening 29th Feb 2022. Ordered rum punch to share-was delicious but no ice. When we asked for some we were given 3 cubes! We were told they had run out of ice so we reasonably asked 'can 't you go and buy some? ' and were told they had already been out to get some. Someone DID go and get some and we got inundated with another 6 cubes. Ordered wings and salt fish fritters for starters (very tasty). 2 of us ordered burgers and 1 ordered curry mutton. Starters arrived with the curry mutton main meal and we then told that there were no buns! Why was that not said when the order went in? How can you bring along 1 main meal with the starters? Curry mutton meal was delicious but lukewarm. Had an upset stomach since. What a shame! Staff were nice but we won 't ever go back. To the white owners of this chain-a VERY disappointing experience-you MUST go better! Everyone assumes this is a Black owned restaurant and this further gives Black people a bad name!"

The restaurant has a fun atmosphere, especially with the music. I have been here before, but this time the food was not great - it was greasy and too salty. Additionally, the prices were too high.

Waited an hour my for booked table, over an hour for a drink. They stopped taking food orders and started telling everyone to go to Nando’s as they couldn’t keep up with the food orders so stopped cooking! Appalling customer service, will never go again! Told to leave after 2hrs as no food order will be taken !

Dreadful experience. Slow service. Most of the dishes unavailable. Bottle of wine served in wine cooler WITHOUT any ice. Had to return it to have ice put in. NO wine glasses. Given glass tumblers. Food mediocre at best. Music too loud for eating venue. They should be able to adjust the volume for bar area and restaurant. Worst experience at a Rum Kitchen and we will not be returning and advised others no to visit this establishment.

I was hoping to enjoy a nice meal and drink here. Unfortunately I was unable to enjoy either! Whilst the guy in charge of bookings was trying his best, it took an age (beyond our booking time) before we were seated. We then waited for about 20mins for someone to take our orders. It is very much appreciated, staff would be rushed off their feet on a Saturday night, however I think that timeframe is sufficient to at least have had a drinks order. As no one seemed to be interested in providing a service, we left without sampling anything on the menu!
