I had a pleasant and delicious dining experience at this restaurant. The menu was great and had options for everyone.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful setting and offers a great variety of beers. However, the customer service from the bartender could have been improved.

This hotel is amazing with incredibly friendly staff who go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We loved our room and had a fantastic dining experience at the charming restaurant. We will definitely be returning. Overall rating: 5 stars for rooms, service, and location.

We popped in for a pint, the beef curry, ham, egg and chips and delicious dessert with our Golden Retriever. The Skirrid isn't dog friendly however the lady on the bar let us eat in the snug as it is the only table in that area. She kindly filled his bowl with water. Well worth a visit to this 11th century pub.

Every time we are in the area, we make sure to stop by The Skirrid Inn for a delicious meal with generous portions. We have never been disappointed as the food is always top-notch. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere of this historic pub adds to the overall experience. While we haven't had the chance to stay in the rooms, we can only imagine that they are just as wonderful as the food and service.

During our visit to Abergavenny, we stopped by the Skirrid Inn after hearing about its historical significance. The pub is quite interesting and does a great job of providing information about its past. They offer a wide variety of drinks to choose from to suit everyone's tastes. However, I have to admit that the food was mediocre. The traditional pub grub was not up to par, as my burger was overcooked and dry. In terms of service, I would rate it a 5 out of 10.

We visited this restaurant for the first time and it will be our last visit. We arrived at the pub around 6:45 pm, were directed to our table, and ordered our starters. The starters arrived in about 20 minutes, which was good. However, we had to wait nearly 2 hours for our main course. When we mentioned this to the staff, they were very rude. When the food finally arrived, it was not cooked the way we wanted and was very greasy. Overall, the service was rated as 1 out of 5.
