"A great little country pub with good ales and ciders, and traditional food at very reasonable prices. Staff are really friendly and there is a great atmosphere. It's not large so booking on busy days is recommended. CASH ONLY Vegetarian options: Only a couple of options for vegetarians, but they are tasty. Parking: The parking is just about sufficient for the number of seats in the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: It's a VERY old building so doorways and passages are narrow with steps between levels. The staff are helpful and I'm sure will make every effort to fit a wheelchair user in if possible. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Chicken Breast Stuffed with Stilton and Wrapped in Bacon, Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free parking lot"

Fantastic local pub! It's a cash-only establishment, but the location is perfect, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. You also get a wonderful view of the nearby church. Price per person: £20–30. Food: 4/5. Service: 4/5. Atmosphere: 5/5. View menu

This pub is stunning and situated in a picturesque location. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the traditional pub food is both delicious and authentic. I wholeheartedly recommend this unique and charming spot and look forward to visiting again soon.

What a truly delightful place! We were recommended to come here by a tour guide down the road, and we received a wonderfully warm welcome. The staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive. I had a fantastic lunchtime visit, with a cozy fire lit for us in the snug by the bar. The welcome was warm, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and I really enjoyed the Butty Bach Wye Valley beer. It’s the perfect spot on a wet, cold day. Thank you! Price per person: £10–20. Recommended dish: Ham and Eggs. View menu

The staff is lovely, but the dining environment could use some improvement. The traditional pub food is exceptionally well prepared, with perfectly cooked steaks and a variety of vegetarian options available. I highly recommend trying the veggie cannelloni. They also have a great selection of delicious desserts. Just a heads up: they don’t accept card payments, and the nearest cash machine is quite far away.

Well after two other local pubs were shut during the day in August our 3rd and final local option was here, and it was definitely 3rd time lucky! We loved the rural setting and the traditional interior of this pub. The food... my god the food was perfect, a full traditional pub menu, missing litterally nothing we could think of, all cooked to perfection in big hearty portions! But the very best part is the people who run the pub, very friendly and very accommodating, talked to us lots and helped entertain our 7 month old baby boy. I cannot reccomend this establishment enough!
