"DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT. The parking system they operate is awful. We went there to get a takeaway and parked in their own customer car park which allows 30 minutes waiting. They took 40 minutes to cook our food . Since we have been terrorised by a cowboy parking company they employ demanding £170 for exceeding the 30 minute parking time (which was caused by the restaurant themselves taking 40 minutes to make the food) we have complained twice about the parking situation but they clearly don’t care as we are now getting threats of high court etc from the parking company. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS AS YOU WILL SUFFER THE SAME FATE . There are plenty more Indian and Chinese restaurants in the area and much better as the food here isn’t particularly good. GO TO OXTED OR LINGFIELD INSTEAD"

Delicious, delicious, delicious. Went with family and the staff are super lovely, they only had the Indian menu when eating in at the moment (COVID). But they said they would be incorporating their Chinese menu back (I don’t particularly like Chinese, but love their take on it!

In terms of Indo-Chinese, there is nothing to touch this place. The food is packed with flavour and cooked with great skill and expertise. If you’ve never eaten this cuisine, you can’t go wrong trying the Chicken Manchurian or Hakka Chilli Chicken. A real treat for the taste buds!

Poor and lazy food. Simple dishes very badly executed. Soggy, oily, onion Bhaji. Samosas in heavy, uncooked, hard pastry. Limp, partially cooked Paratha. Lamb Madras with completely over spiced, extremely hot sauce. This place is to be avoided at all costs and by the way it costs a pretty penny...!

The worst food ever, asked for 3 dishes and spring roles as takeaway cost me £30. The special fried rice was pilau rice with chicken and prawns, the kung poh chicken was revolting, the noodles were so greasy it made them slimy, the spring roles came from a supermarket but was charged £7. The whole meal was foul will and also had to wait nearly 2 hours for it to be delivered, we were so disappointed will not recommend to anyone, they really need to close

Had food from here as a takeaway a few times and always impressed so we decided to go to the restaurant as a treat. Got there at about 7 and were the only people there, a few lads in the pub but no-one else. Very nice waitress and we put our order in, I guess everything is pre packed and heated up or you couldn't possibly get exactly the same as a takeaway!! It was good food but so disappointing that we were the only customers in the restaurant. Is it because the pub side is quite scruffy, even spit and sawdust!! Doubt we will go again but definitely carry on using the takeaway.

First of all, I just went for a takeaway, so I cannot speak of eating at the restaurant. Starters BBQ pork ribs-ok, but some quite chunky and overcooked, salt 'n pepper squid were bland and unexciting, prawn on toast, ok only. Accompanying sauce, quite fiery. Mains. Seafood delight £10.95) was boring with a few bits of squid and 3 prawns, not much more tasteless), sweet and sour chicken was very good and plentiful, chicken hakka noodle had little if any chicken in it poor), and a steamed rice £3.00) which was fine. All this came to £50 which was discounted by 10% on collection. I asked why the egg fried rice was priced at £5.25 and was told this was a fine dining restaurant see title). Disap...

"Tarana Review of Tarana restaurant Lingfield , location is very prominent , on the main High Street. The restaurant can be easily be seen on the high street after passing the roundabout as you enter the high street . As you enter the front door , you quickly realise it’s so large in size and very spacious with colourful lighting. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated with a wow factor , great ambiance . As you walk through there is lounge bar area on the left to enjoy a drink before you are seated to your table. Tonight we are here to dine and enjoy the Dua Lipa live tribute singing and dancing so great atmosphere here tonight ! They have a wonderful range of cocktails non alcoholic and alcoholic with exciting range of drink menu . Great if you’re driving and not in to alcohol , the choice is unlimited unlike your usual typical indian with basic soft drinks . There is dance floor to do some hip hop or just slow , choice is yours! We have been to most of their restaurants and it’s “simply the best” in terms of entertainment food and drinks . The prices are very reasonable for what you get from them and service is wonderful with a smile King prawn butterflies appetisers and king purree , wonderful and nicely flavoured, served with designer chillies and salad . Main courses , Tiger Prawn biryani King prawn biryani duck biryani with side dishes of fresh bindi bhaji sag bhaji tarka dall wow ! Simply mind blowing food "
