Called in for food as we were staying in the area. All meals were well presented and delicious. The veg selection provided on the roast dinner was plentiful and tasty. We thoroughly enjoy the food and drinks.

Our first Sunday lunch here. Sunday lunch was delicious. Roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft inside. We all enjoyed our meals. Friendly staff. Will definitely return. Best roast we've had out for years.

We went as a group of seven on a Saturday whilst visitng the area. It was very quiet and I wondered if we had made the wrong choice. However as it turned out everything was excellent and reasonably priced. Well worth supporting this place if you live nearby

Just moved into the village and thought I would treat myself to a pint and dinner. This is a genuine pub that has good beer and top quality food. Would recommend it if you are passing through. It is also dog friendly. Great place , great staff, great food try it.

I was simply looking to enjoy a peaceful meal, and I must say, the meal was wonderful. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful, providing excellent customer service throughout my visit. Found this lovely dog friendly pub on our travels, Was Made to feel welcome by locals and staff. Food was very flavoursome,I had the burger with bacon cheese and the most amazing onion rings,my friend had the fish and chips they even cooked the dog a sausage. Would highly recommend this pub and would use again.

Living local we fancied a Sunday roast with our little girl. We’ve not tried the sugar loaves before but we will certainly be back! First thing to say is it’s great prices for lovely roast dinners. My husband had a burger and I had the roast beef! They have lots of choice for the children too. Super friendly atmosphere with a really attentive waitress. Will definitely be back.

During our stay at the Great Danes hotel, we decided to take a stroll into Hollingbourne in search of a pub that served food. We made a great choice! The food was fantastic and beautifully presented. My brother ordered the steak suet pudding and was impressed by the generous chunks of meat in it. My husband opted for the fish assortment in a basket, while I enjoyed the pate and garlic prawns. Everything was delicious. The staff were very friendly and there was even a gorgeous boxer dog in the pub. Overall, it was a fantastic village pub with a great selection of ales and food. View menu
