"We made a reservation and found ourselves in a rather unfortunate situation. Upon entering the establishment, it was immediately evident that it had transitioned into a take-away only venue. The lack of plates and cutlery on our table, along with the absence of any acknowledgment from the staff, was disheartening. To our surprise, a blonde waiter occupied a nearby table, casually enjoying her pizza without attending to the restaurant 's only seated guests, us. With a young child in tow, we decided to settle down and even fetched a highchair for our little one. After a few more minutes of waiting, I signaled for attention, only to be asked if we were there for a collection order. I responded, No, we had a reservation. The response I received was rather awkward, Oh, it 's you. There 's an hour wait. This statement left us perplexed, as the entire place was empty, suggesting that the queue was primarily for take-away orders. Typically, when you make a booking for dine-in, there 's some degree of priority. Regrettably, no effort was made to accommodate our situation, and we were left with no alternative but to leave. This experience was unlike any other, and it 's safe to say we won 't be returning to this establishment."

Pizzas are excellent now. They were ok before the current chef was in there but they are really good now. It's open most of the time too which not a lot of the other Italian places are.

Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Service was okay; efficient but not particularly friendly. Can only give the atmosphere 1 star, as we were the only table in the restaurant. We would return. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

we have now ordered a few times for delivery, and although a little bit further than where we would normally order, were always impressed that the food is still hot to eat when it comes, really delicious fresh food and not expensive, good portions, always supply on time! fab place! absolutely recommended!

I went to this restaurant for lunch with friends and received a warm welcome from the owner. The service was prompt and even though I am not a fan of pizza (we were dragged there by a friend who wanted us to try it), we were all impressed. The experience reminded me of my holidays in Italy, with freshly made pizza from a traditional pizza oven and using fresh ingredients. I will definitely be returning with my family, who are all pizza enthusiasts.

delicious Italian pizza. as vegetarian I usually have no pizza because I find that the topping options are bad from taking points, but this is not the case at tides they have real fresh vegetables and add to options. friendly staff to check everything is ok and ask if they need anything else. at the end of the meal the owner asked us our option to eat, which is rare, but fantastic service, it showed him that he ensured that they were happy and enjoyed eating her. every restaurant should do that.

"Whilst wondering this lovely little town, we wondered what we should grab to eat. We thought we would play it safe by going to a non-commercial but traditional Italian restaurant. However, whilst the menu may feel like you’re sitting in Italy, there is nothing safe...about the quality of this food! I should first of all acknowledge just how receptive and warming they were to the fact that we had two infants who were part of our party. They did everything they can to make sure that they were smiling as much as we were, and able to squeeze in our buggy and luggage accordingly. The food though was absolutely delicious. The folded garlic and cheese balls to start were absolutely delicious, and oozing of salty chewiness. However both of the monk fish main courses that came out were absolutely outstanding, with very fleshy and generously portion size pieces of fish. The veal Milanese was perfectly crispy and moist in the middle. The infant size pizza was generous portion size. All of it was cooked fresh and served warm. The only thing which frustrated me was the lack of wine options that you can order by the glass. I do understand why restaurants don’t make all of their wines available, but as the only one drinking I would have liked more than just a Pino for white wine options. But this isn’t a restaurant for alcohol, this is a restaurant for well cooked food for all occasions. If I am in the area again I would easily eat here"
