"I was keen to support a local business on a visit to Artists in Goring so chose the Village Cafe for lunch with friends. There was a steady stream of customers served by young friendly staff so I was happy with the quoted 30 minutes wait for my cheese and ham panini. It did mean that some of my group had finished their lunch before others had received their orders or other people 's orders or were informed that the cream tea they had ordered had been put through as a Coke. We never did find out who ended up with the scrambled eggs we were twice offered. My favourite moment was when the woman in the queue ahead of me asked for a strawberry milkshake, was told that isn 't something they offered, so she turned round and pointed to the specials board that had only one thing written on it in large letters 'Strawberry milkshake '. Tasty food, lovely people, relaxed atmosphere, nice setting, great fun"

It’s not often a full English breakfast makes an impression that draws one back for more. The best breakfast in England.

Had some ice creams here, and they were fantastic ! Two very big scoops of propper ice cream in a luxury cone for £3.25 each. Loads for flavours, and happy helpful staff !

We visited this charming, quaint cafe in Goring whilst visiting my daughter. I very much enjoyed the lattes and carrot cake. The service was superb and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend.

Stubbled across this cafe when walking through Goring and so glad we did. We had a freshly cooked breakfast and coffee which was delicious and excellent. The service was friendly and polite and the cafe has plenty of seating inside and out, with a very relaxed feel. Would definitely recommend, the cakes looked delicious although we didn't try them.

We have been going for many years after hiking. It used to be a very nice café with lovely food but the quality has gone down significantly. On our last visit it was left to three youngsters to manage it and to make things worse most of the food ran out at 2 pm. Not the kids fault, they did their best and were nice and polite but the owner needs to rethink what the are doing. It is unacceptable. View menu

This is a lovely independent cafe, really nice friendly staff. Their cakes are homemade and all look fantastic, it was difficult to decide what to choose. The shortbread, pecan pie and millionaires shortbread all tasted absolutely delicious. Good value for money in my opinion as the cakes are homemade and you get a good size piece. I would definitely recommend a visit here. We took our cakes away to eat by the river which is only a few minutes walk away.

Wow! The All-Day breakfast was quality, served quickly and piping hot, proper cut tomato not tinned. Decent sausage and bacon, the toast was yummy. loads of butter available and genuine HP and Heinz ketchup. The coffee tasted top class and was served very hot and with heated milk in mini churns. The venue is comfortable and clean, pricing is low for what you get. The staff are very attentive. Free WiFi too. Well worth a visit, car park is just a street behind and first hour is free! The counter has plenty of other yummy treats such as cakes and shakes.
