"A fantastic venue to hold a party! It's a lovely private room, the communication organising this was great. We ordered some buffet food (the premium set, 25 for 60 people, supplied most people with some nibbles) which was really delicious and the staff were lovely!! We were allowed to decorate and play our own music, it teally personalised our event. I would thoroughly recommend booking here. The only draw backs are that it's down a flight of stairs if you have any disabled attendees, and it would have been nice to have an extra bar staff who could support when the bar was busy and clear away glasses in-between. Was also warm at first but think they must have turned on the aircon. Apart from that I'd happily book again or suggest it to others. Thanks for giving me a lovely evening to remember."

beautiful pub, good beer selection, fun quiz on Tuesday, only do not expect more than pub food and they will enjoy themselves.

Went for my birthday dinner with friend and family and had a great time. service was excellent and food really good and reasonably priced. The pub itself is great inside, a very cosy feel but also lively

unfortunate experience. caalabrie meat for £14.50 was essentially fat plate. treated with hostility and leaving by employees, almost as extortion. will no longer be regular, will not recommend to friends.

Always pop in when I am in London, pleased to see the place hasn't changed as it is perfect the way it is. Beautiful food at reasonable prices and the best landlady I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

This pub is truly excellent. The food is exceptional and the service is top-notch. The only downside is that sometimes there is a long wait for the food to arrive. Perhaps this is the price to pay for such a popular spot?

we live locally and come every 2 months or so. apart from no doombar, service nad food were excellent and we didnt have to wait too long for our meal, which has been a problem historically. please ensure that the wild boar sausage remains on the menu- lovely jubbly.

quite pub. looks like an independent so we were surprised to see that it was exactly the same menu as the angel inn in highgate I had enjoyed my wing there a few weeks, so they had again today. beautiful smoked grilled wings rubbed in a small sweet sauce. also ordered the padron peppers, which were bribed with a little rough salt. my companion pulled pork sliders were very tasty with lashing the BBQ sauce friendly service. only cash payments.

If you don’t want to encounter the rudest manageress Antonia Orpen, I have ever had the misfortune of meeting then stay away from this dreary overpriced pub who treats its clients like the bottom of your shoe. TV sound on full blast for no reason, and not giving a damn about its patrons who are not interested in it, I would stay away. She doesn’t even care if you have a disability…Such a shame for a local pub, who should rely on its regulars.
