This pub has a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a lot of character. The team is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious and served hot. Their Sunday dinner is highly recommended.

Everytime I visit, the food is always amazing. It is home cooked and delicious and the portions are always plenty! The price is insane for the quality and there is something to suit everyone! Cannot recommend enough. View menu

some of us tried the pub after a walk and were pleasantly surprised. eating was very valuable and beautiful and the personal was amazing and accommodating. I had a dog they welcomed in the bar area, they also kindly offered a bowl of water while they made a fuss of him.

We Had Sunday lunch on this occasion. It was excellent. Roast potay, meat and Yorkshire puddings deserve special mention. Starts much appreciated by my family and desserts eagerly devoured. eating was stunning, personal was friendly, could not do enough for them. there were 13 of us, for Sunday dinner, eating was hot, veg remained coming, gravy boats, extras nothing was too much trouble....we usually all ate together....lol....and not even start me up how good the gloomy were....yum yum. I will definitely go back. well, we booked again while we were there.

I have been twice to the Waterloo in, once for Sunday lunch and other for Saturday lunch and both experiences have been amazing. The food is the highlight of the experience, with beautiful hand made food you can tell love has gone into every plate. The Sunday dinner was the best I’ve had in a long time, I couldn’t finish it all and it was all beautiful. I had the way burger and chips on Saturday and that also impressed me. Well done to the team who couldn’t do enough to help! I Will be returning over and over again.

I’ve been to the Waterloo inn a few times in the past few months since Lauren has taken over and every time the food has been spot on. Each time the food is always a perfect example of super comforting home cooking which is served fresh and piping hot. There is always plenty to choose from the menu, with ever changing specials. The winter warmer menu that’s running at the moment is a perfect example of this! The price you pay for what you get is fantastic, the normal prices regardless of any of the deals is good value but there’s also offers running through the week that offer various things at 2 for £20.
