"Well where to begin. Now I know why we stopped going there. Used to be quite regular as I work nearby, first time I 'd been for a couple of years COVID etc). On the night I visited, they had a huge choice of one ale, Sambrooks Junction, an average ale at best, if you look at the image on the Google listing of beer in a jug, you should be able to see through it, like the one I 've attached, the beer I got was worse than the one they picture on the Google listing. The fish and chips were mediocre, you can see from their own picture how many chips you get, these are triple fried , and some of them had done the full course at least 3 times, stick a fork in and they shatter. Portion of mushy peas in a thimble. Sorry, but disappointed, the first and last time I 'll eat here and probably the last time I 'll drink here as well. Over priced, only redeeming factors, the decor and the young lady serving in the dining area."

Changed from when I knew it in the 1980's. Great inside decor. Has a small garden at the rear. £5.00 for my pint.

Nice pub, excellent service, even if it is 5 deep in the bar. Large selection of beers, including Erdinger Blau for the riders out there. Open until 1:00 on weekends, recommended.

Really good veggie roast in a super pleasant environment. Only small issue was sometimes not much staff attention. And the loos were not checked once all afternoon and were pretty awful by the end of the day!

Second time after a very long time.. Food was very good, service was good even to show only one thing, no need to ask every ten minutes if we need something else... A drink or a desert... Will soon be loved again the very good atmosphere!!! Thank you for coming from the other pubs in the area.

Straight-forward London pub managing to keep it simple, wholesome and good. Spent some time in this pub about 25 years ago when it was a bit rowdy and less together... I'm really glad it's still here and still seems like a real pub, where you can now bring your family or have a good evening out with friends.

Visited first time for Christmas roast. Felt the vegetarian roast lacked vegetables. Although, the nut roast was really good, would have been good to have more vegetables. Also, had to order gravy and Yorkshire pudding separately and by the time it came the food was cold. The place was packed but I expected the food to be warm since we booked a table.

Absolutely wonderful pub. We came Saturday night for some food and was not disappointed. Amazing tasting food together with the tasteful ale, made for a great evening. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. I had the pork cakes with apple wood croquettes, the steak with a delicious peppercorn sauce and a crisp desert. All in all, I would recommend thoroughly

The menu at this restaurant is quite upscale and pricey, especially for the area of Tooting. However, the options are quite delicious and there is a good selection to choose from that are clearly labeled. It's a bit disappointing that there isn't already a vegan option on the brunch menu. The interior of the restaurant is very nice and conveniently located across from the station.

Came here early last Sunday evening for a drink and meeting with friends. Pub very busy with Sunday lunchers but found a lovely table upstairs only to be told they were closing that room in 30 minutes. Came back downstairs just before 6.30 and found a small table that was free and sat down. After 5 minutes a reserved sign was put down in the table and we were asked to move as there were people waiting for it. Hmmm….. I’d been waiting and the table wasn’t reserved when I sat down. Can you not just go into this pub and have a drink? There is nothing on the website that I can see that tells you that you need a reservation just to enter the premises. Not impressed. Won’t be coming back
