"Freezing cold, needed to keep our coats on. Although one of our party had rung to ask about gluten free food and was assured that they did gluten free, this seemed to be not the case not much option and felt that she was a nuisance for asking for it and no desserts were gluten free. Ordered our food after 20 minute wait they came to inform us they couldn't find any pork for the pulled pork burger! After 45mins one of the meals came out after another 5 to 10 minutes 2 more meals came out and after another 5 minutes the fourth meal came out. Would have been nice for all of us to eat together. The food was very good after such a long wait shame it was dished up on a wood board do not like these at all, we all would have preferred a plate. Ordered dessert after 5 minutes came back to say they had no Eton mess, if you do not have anything should not be on the menu. Just be warned if you go this time of the year you need your ski wear on as it really is freezing cold and that was sitting next to a radiator."

Don't tell everybody, but this local pub is really great! Well supported by the village, the food is always excellent and reasonably priced.

This is a wonderful pub with delicious food and welcoming staff. It's the perfect place to enjoy a pint in the sun, and they even allow dogs.

Food is always good there, generous portion and very pub food some extra options. The staff are friendly with lots of locals events weekly. 1 baby seat only currently which let us down but luckily we were close enough to go home and get something (April24).

The staff at the restaurant were friendly and helpful, but the chef served a burger with a burnt top bun. I pointed out the issue to the chef, who responded that the burger meat was fine. However, the burnt bun was not acceptable. They replaced it with a half-frozen bun. I was charged £14 for a homemade burger, but later found out it was actually store-bought, as the chef accidentally revealed. Overall, I felt like I would have gotten better value for my money at McDonald's. The situation was disappointing and somewhat laughable.
