"we were here for nights for a family wedding, the staff was very friendly and helpful despite us to take over the rooms! we had the high-time breakfast there, and they allowed us a whole day to prepare the room and let us move everything...and we also made a lot of chaos. we had children, older and disabled people and nothing was too much annoyed. the william iw is a relaxing space, good eating and a beautiful atmosphere. I'm sad to go! special screaming out for diogo, vincent and lily (probably misconducted) they are all amazing and a big laugh! would they definitely stay again if I visit my sister next and come to dinner!"

Lovely pub, first time, had heard of it. Spacious, well decorated xmasy, warm/comfortable temperature. Good simple affordable pub food with a twist. And look forward to using the spacious garden starting spring! View menu

I booked the Williams for my sons birthday/ christening in the function room. Very ideal due to the current situation that were all experiencing. They were extremely helpful, food and hospitality were amazing. Extremely attentive. I've been coming here for over years now. The...new and improved management are lovely.

The William IV has been sensitively renovated to create a wonderful, open, airy feeling... with comfortable seating and an ambience that makes you immediately relax. The outdoor dining areas are covered and heated... a real bonus in these times! Service was excellent and frequent... and...food was superb. I’ll be back soon!

had the most beautiful Sunday dinner with my family today! I've only been for drinks in william iw so far, but I've never eaten there. today we visited for sunday roasts and had such a nice relaxing couple of hours there. the food. (we had pork and a chicken roast) was absolutely elevated! the service was friendly and immaculate, many thanks! extra thanks to the extended to the great pianists who entertained us with his music! total experience was so much more than I expected and we will definitely be regular!

Live fairly locally and decided to pop in as the pub always looks v nice from outside. What a find! Lovely pub with cosy decor, proper fireplaces, decent atmosphere, cute private rooms and a great large outdoor area. Food was outstanding and very good value-...more like high end restaurant food than pub food. Loved the croquettes, the lamb main (arancini balls omg and the gnocchi and the chocolate pudding was out of this world. Already booking my Christmas meal! Very large so would be good for all types of groups- nice mix of friends, families and couples. Can’t wait to return

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
