"Very disappointing dinner on our first night in Stratford upon Avon . Staff weren’t very welcoming . Seemed preoccupied with UBER eats rather than guests in the restaurant . Starter took over an hour to arrive and was cold so had to send back . However we were still charged ! Main was mediocre . Chicken tikka starter on no sizzle plate . No hot plate to keep food warm as in usual Indian restaurants. Hot towels at end of meal arrived with a man with a jug of hot water ! Would not recommend ."

We always have great food from thespians! Definitely our favourite Indian takeaway in Stratford-on-Avon! The drivers are very professional and very friendly! Great value for money too

Ate here last night. TA has varying reviews so we thought we'd make up our own minds. Starters were ok but main courses were delicious. Naan bread was THE best. The younger server needs a little big of training but overall a good meal and experience. We will return

Arrived and asked if we could get takeaway food to which they said yes. When looking at the menu told to hurry and tapping their watch. Ordered to then be spoken to like a nuisance although told we were in time to order. When ordered then instructed to walk around outside for 10 minutes until the food was ready. A disappointing takeaway. At £15+ a main course, both curries we ordered were extremely runny and very salty. Mains were 1x Lamb bhuna and 1x King prawn chilli masala. I have never experienced such watery curries. Our order to the value of £75 did not come with complementary popadoms which would have been a nice touch, that so many other establishments do so. The quality of the food received did not match the price tag.

The food was way overpriced for the quality and quantity. We have ordered 2 curries and shashlik with rice and naan on the side and 3 starters and paid £78! We expected a lot more meat within the sauce for this price but disappointingly there weren’t much. The samosas were cold and one was undercooked and still cold inside, naan bread was very sweet and impacted the taste of the curry…unfortunately very disappointing experience :
