"We arrived before 6pm on a Friday evening. First we were greeted with an over-friendly and very loud 'Buona sera'. Then we were asked if we had reserved. When we said no, it only went downhill from there. Us was the husband, our 2,5 year old and me. As we arrived in Kochel a few hours before, we decided spontaneously to eat there. I am used to making reservations in Munich restaurants weeks in advance (which takes out all spontaneity and fun of an evening for me), but we're talking Kochel am See here, a very sleepy town in the alpine upland, pre-season!We were seated outside on their terrace, feeling lucky that it had an awning attached as it was pouring down with rain.The service was extremly slow and the food was really just about mediocre. We had their mushroom risotto and pizza hawaii. Both dishes were pretty tasteless and the pizza was very dry."

"At first we were impressed by their menu an interesting mix of Bavarian and French specialties (we learned that the owners are French, but have long lived in Germany). We were also impressed by the wide and fresh selection of... Fish and seafood available, really not typical of this region! Everything was well prepared and spiced, the service was a high standard... there was really no fault to find, and if we are back in the area, we will definitely return!"

"On a bike ride, my wife and I stopped for a surprisingly good lunch here. The staff members were professional, welcoming, and efficient. The plentiful dishes we had were maybe a bit much for lunch on a bike ride. My wife had the mixed fish...grill, which apparently was prepared from frozen prawns and fish. She’s generally pretty critical, but she thought this was very well prepared. I had the venison with spätle, which I thought was also quite good. In each case, our dishes were not the very best grilled seafood or venison we’ve ever eaten. However, they were certainly quite good, especially considering the price is very moderate; the best we’ve ever had enjoyed more expensive ingredients. I would happily eat food from this chef again! It was pleasant sitting outside but not ideal: cars pass by on the street within meters"

"Wir waren in den letzten Jahren während unseres Urlaubs immer dort essen. Auch in diesem Jahr hatten wir gehofft wieder schön essen zu gehen. Leider sind wir enttäuscht worden. Meine Nudeln mit Muscheln waren schlecht gewürzt und schwammen in Brühe. Das Kalbsfilet mit Steinpilzen meines Sohn war totgebraten, die Sauce war eine einzige Pampe und schmeckte zudem nach Salbei. Die übrigen Gerichte der Familie waren ok aber für den Preis nicht angemessen, einfach null acht fünfzehn.... Der Service war gut, aber vom Essen waren wir total enttäuscht. Wir werden im nächsten Jahr nicht mehr wiederkommen."

"Nachdem wir den ganzen Tag wandern waren, es mittlerweile kalt und dunkel geworden ist, sind wir durch Zufall in dem kleinen Restaurant Bergblick gelandet. Der heimelige kleine Gastraum, der eine gelungene Mischung aus alt und neu ist, die freundliche Bedienung und ein Zither-Spieler haben uns einen wunderschönen Abend beschert! Wohnzimmeratmosphäre, fast schon intim, zum wohlfühlen. Zu Essen haben wir Spinatknödel bestellt, die den außergewöhnlichen Abend perfekt abgerundet haben."
