After a hike with friends we returned to the flattering of kochel.A very nice local whose kitchen has to offer for every taste what..The quality of the food and the service are highly recommended....A very nice sound for a beautiful day!We come back!

was on business and then quickly enjoyed a tasty lunch at restaurant flattered by kochel. a small appetizer and then a pizza that has already been prepared for me a little more specific.Friendly service, always a nice word and the chef likes to take 5 minutes. come back here!

we were not the 1st time here in the forged by Kochel.Reiche selection of food.Netter service, good kitchen!Our expectations were met. a beard soup at the beginning was the hammer soo delicious. the saibling in the mandelkruste excellent. eat excellent, very friendly and competent staff.The rooms are very idyllic especially well maintained.The hotel is very central, public transport near time, as well as interesting places to reach well at foot .currently I would visit this hotel again, price-performance ratio top, friends and family I would recommend this hotel.

We had high hopes going into the Alpen restaurant. Unfortunately, the ambiance and service was subpar. They blasted late rock and the server spent an inordinate amount of time chatting with her fellow server, who was seated at the choice table in the restaurant...and spent the duration of our visit checking her cell phone. Also, beers are poured ca. full. That said, the salad bar is great. This is the first salad bar I have experienced in Deutschland and it does not disappoint. But other than that, I was not impressed

On our trip from Austria to München, we decided to take a detour via more peaceful roads. We took a break in Kochel am See, Bavaria. This place is an very old Family hotel Restaurant Cafe. Prices in this place is very moderate,...service polite, allthough english not spoken very well, which is acceptable. Old lady of the place served us well and quickly. Also, local food portions are available here, place seems to be popular in the Lunch hours. We recommend to take a nice detour on your way, e. g. from Innsbruck to München, and have a break in here View menu

We were a bit worried when we entered the restaurant at lunchtime and not a single soul was present. However, the waitress reassured us that the chef was alive and well, the place was open for business and we were welcome to choose any table...within the vast establishment. Atmosphere is of traditional Bavarian quality and when a few more people appeared we relaxed and enjoyed the beers in front of us. Our meals followed in due course and consisted of Tellerfleisch cooked beef served with horseradish and potatos and Grilled Calamari not babycalamari. We came across this place when we were looking for lunch to cheer us up before we had to leave for England. It was cold outside but the restaurant was warm and comfortable. The lady who served us made us most welcome and we all...enjoyed our lunch, spaghetti carbonara, Ochsen shulter, schweinebraten and half a duck, all served with white and blue cabbage and roast potatoes and the duck came with a dumpling knodel. We were tempted to stay for afters and the nippers had some nice ice cream while we had tiramisu, one normal and one which was really good made with gluhwein. On a bike ride, my wife and I stopped for a surprisingly good lunch here. The staff members were professional, welcoming, and efficient. The plentiful dishes we had were maybe a bit much for lunch on a bike ride. My wife had the mixed fish...grill, which apparently was prepared from frozen prawns and fish. She’s generally pretty critical, but she thought this was very well prepared. I had the venison with spätle, which I thought was also quite good. In each case, our dishes were not the very best grilled seafood or venison we’ve ever eaten.
